Landlords suck, gas sucks, attitudes suck, and sh*t's changing. I know what's happening; I know what we need to do. The country is not ready or worthy though, yet we still play on like we are getting somewhere. This foresight will be rewarded soon. Maybe some of you feel this way about your own lives and music? CONGRATULATIONS TO BARACK OBAMA!!! He is not only symbolic to me, fulfilling so many things to our change. Barack is already a leader of the world, with so many people in the world ready to do as he asks. We've had such a LONG 7.5 years where the world absolutely refused to embrace us. Now McCain is also an interesting fellow. He has suffered as a POW, and is a very smart man. He seemed different 2 years ago and before, but seems to be falling into the same old traps of the republicans. He'd have to show some heartfelt moments, some passion about his beliefs in the race for president rather than that old stubbornness, or he's sunk. ... I know one thing though. If anything happens to Barack, as some people thought could during this race, I would be sad and prone to violence. Thats putting it lightely. There would be much chaos, because of people's lost hope. People I love. Who ever you are out there behind those kinds of conspiracies, don't let it happen. I pray that you refrain, and accept change. I believe the next leader will be the iron rod of the eagle. Realizing his power. A most just and esteemed leader. Unfortunately though, we are just beginning the hard work of repair. Mother nature, outer space, and human nature have a few more curves to throw before stabilizing. A leader that could think like us and think more with the heart? Priceless.
Oil Is Blood by Anfo Merc 2008 alternative metal gas war protest

Specimen 51508 – petroglyph, pictograph or enhanced mimetolith. “Alien Monolith”. It is most likely of the Sinagua, Palatki, Honanki, Hopi, or Anasazi Indian people. Found: May 2008 near Sedona, AZ. (but WHO; which people or clan found and enhanced this?) It was kicking around a stream, in danger of being lost forever to 4-wheelers (tire mark and all) but in surprisingly good condition. It is somewhat larger than a brick.
This is not painted or carved, at least not in any way that you can notice with the natural eye. It IS the sandstone rock. The red part is called Sedona-Red, and the white part is called Coconino. They are composed of the same thing: sandstone. The red has more iron-oxide. This type of sedimentary rock is very much like that in the Grand Canyon, which has all the different colors. The layers and different colors leak into one another at contact zones. This was a contact specimen that someone altered, by carving away one color from another and revealing an image that they apparently already saw inside! I believe this to be very rare and important, at least to me for now… It is a clear image that everyone sees the same way, the upper half of a large being, looking to his right, with little humans all about his shoulders. A woman with a big hairdo holding a baby or cup to the being’s mouth. They are atop a hump or ball on the being’s shoulder. I should note that the specimen also has “Escher-esque” positive and negative repeats in this scene that make it seem like a lot more people doing a lot more things (if you did not notice). Get this: “For Michelangelo, the job of the sculptor was to free the forms that were already inside the stone. He believed that every stone had a sculpture within it, and that the work of sculpting was simply a matter of chipping away all that was not a part of the statue.”
Signed? The one below looks like it says Segunda, meaning “second” in Spanish… and an arrow going down, both in a fine, red writing. This was probably done later as the previous owner’s note or caption for what the rock is. Also in this pic on the being’s left shoulder, again the people in white with bun and butterfly hairdos, they kind of look like ancient Hopi and Japanese hairstyles. The butterfly one is holding a baby. They are walking away to the right. This is such fine detail and unlike any hand I’ve encountered in the Early American realm. This would have been the Michelangelo of the Western World, or maybe I have it all backwards… This person did this long before Michelangelo perhaps? Easily more than 400 years ago, more like between one and two thousand years ago and a bit more two-dimensional. And then another person saw its significance and graphitized it SEgunda, at least a hundred years ago. Not a bad hypothesis at all. This would be the voice of a mild scientific background speaking. Note the sparkles in the picture, bright color points that are the grain of the sandstone! IMPOSSIBLE. There is actually something I learned more recently though, weeks after I found this, and that’s that certain Hopi people are looking for a stone or lost tablet. This one really is not the corner of a tablet though; it looks more like it would be the “creator” stone they mention, but made by nature. A person did not create this. Why does this show a procession of people with ponytail and butterfly hair going through an alien head? It is really weird. People want to buy it, but it is safer with me until I figure some things out. And I am pretty sure after looking at this specimen, we will have company soon. Maybe 2012?
If these were meteorites, I would have to look even closer at previous ROCK.
Some things I cannot explain. I’ve never had more things I can’t explain happen in one 5-day trip than with this Sedona Arizona trip of mid May 2008. Something said “go and find…” weeks before I left. Then, driving in and around this place there was such a rapid succession of events that leads to finding an “alien rock”, seeing a meteorite streak a long blue-white trail through the night sky and (possibly) finding it 2 hours later at dawn, by accident. There is even more than I can want to say. The last part of this trippy trip is the severely haunted ghost town film. See it below.
Looks like stony-iron or mesosiderite meteorites to me. They are being tested.
West Texas super-haunting. Abandoned truck stop on the way back home. Watch the empty doors and the head! Naked or nude tortured spirits want some attention??? Why? Lord why is this on my camera?

Peerless and beyond modern, we choose what is necessary, challenging and spectacular for the attention deficient. So much competition for their attention, but who will get and keep it? Around here it is believed that much character should go into a song - aspects that can make it unforgettable. It would need a definitive beginning, middle, end; A vision, a prediction; mathematics, unpredictability, progression. Definitely needs a hook and even some chaos.

Anfo Merc Band ... Merc, Joe, Derek
THE BAND: What started as Merc's vision, evolved into a band over some time. The lineup of Anfo Merc is Joe on drums/vocals, Merc on guitar/vocals, and Derek on bass.
BIO (as a band): Joe and Merc jammed together in the 90’s in the infamous and tribalistic FLESH FETISH, and later in the improvisational phenomenon FASCHNACHT. They’ve played festivals around Texas in the versatile group LOS CRAWDADS, and played LOLLAPALOOZA in two different bands. Derek is a friend of several years that stepped in on bass at a good moment. "D-Man" Derek has jammed with some cool bands like S.A. Roxx and with Merc in Blue Albino.
The performance of the ROAD RAGE set in the past year or two had been a looming task somewhere on the horizon. It is a vast, audio obstacle course full of intention & out of convention. A most challenging musical journey that re-programs the inclinations of the fingers, hands, feet, voices & minds of those involved.
Yeah, some of the songs are a bit (extremely) political…

Favorite type of music in the world: colonial period harpsichord.
“Le Vertigo” by Joseph Nicolas Pancrace Royer (1705-1755)
I thought this was not going to be possible on guitar, since it is a harpsichord piece from 1746. I am playing only two guitar tracks; left side: the bass clef line, mixed with –1 octave, and the right side: treble clef line, mixed with +1 octave. To date, this may be the only electric guitar version of Royer’s Vertigo in the world, due to complexity and obscurity. A contemporary of Bach, and nearly as prolific as JS Bach in their time, JNP Royer WAS almost forgotten in modern times. I am very pleased to bring a centuries-old piece to light that most people have never heard. I did it by ear. I am also very pleased that you can see and hear a video performance of this piece done on harpsichord by Alessandra Iovina in Rome. Enjoy!
