SPIKED PUNCH at a High school Dance IS CURRENTLY TAKING TIME TO WRITE AND RECORD NEW MATERIAL IN THE NEXT FEW MONTHS as well as looking for shows.
Spiked Punch At A Highschool Dance blends a new style of Rock. Since their recent debut, they have handed over 1000 homemade demos, played countless parties and infected their rock/metal/funk sound into every new person who see's them perform. It's time for a change, a new voice. Spiked Punchs' lyrics push on themes of what is going on in our world politically and socially. the Mass of our society is fixated in their own bubble, and are trapped in ideas, trapped in the system. Educate yourself become informed ask more questions and find out the real reason behind what illusion you live in. Creativity dies in our education system. As humans get older they lose the dreams & creativity they were born with because of certain ideas that are forced on them as they grow old. DON'T let this happen to YOU. Keep an Open Mind, Expand your mind, make mistakes, learn from them, and change the world!!! dammit, get mad and make a positive change.
Gordy-- lead singer and synth player and creator of "Cellars Door" his main solo project now leads this foursome into a new dimension of creation.
JFork-- currently lead guitar player in Cobbler his mind leads him in many musical directions, and calaborations with many musicians. Spiked Punch... his first successful side-project..being influenced heavily by Tom Morello riffage and 80's metal and pop mixed with Josh's funky rhythms and Brian's hardcore rhythmaticfunkystylie creates the tone for what is now entitled Spiked Punch At A Highschool Dance.
BHit-- drummer for the most excellent hardcore band called "Another Side of Silence" (myspace.com/anothersideofsilence) His love of different rhythmatic styles and past collaborations with JFork makes for a pop pop a gee gee O sound.
Josh-- bass master of his own kind...a style of his own and a friendship with BHit brought him to meet Gordy and JFork. A love of music and a slapbassomatic right hand combined with influences such as Red Hot Chili Peppers make a delightfully combination meal of bass for your subwoofa.
