About Me
The Hard Hitta is a group of rappers, coming straight from the Streets of St. Louis. Band Members, Toi Game her cousin Willoc Grape have both been through about everything that the St. Louis streets has to offer. Toi Game, was born and raised on the Northside of St. Louis in a hectic, St. Louis City area called "Walnut Park!" You might have heard the rapper "Chingy" mention some of the things that go own in that little area, including the gun-shots "every night" and the losing of a family member or friend, time and time again. Willoc on the other hand, was born and raised on the opposite end of St. Louis, "The Sou’side"(Southside) of St. Louis. In his town, he was raised dealing with the same thing Toi went through, gun-shots "every night" and the losing of a family member or close homie! Not to mention, some of his homies have been murdered by some police on the South Side.
Carrying the past on their shoulders have sometimes been tough, but they have managed to turn to something other than what most would after growing up in hectic environments such as the ones they grew up in. Toi Game and Willoc both, turned to the inhaling and exhaling of the rap game! Seeming to not have a choice but to express their past ways of life and what days are like now, they sometimes have to resort to their rapping or who knows... Toi Game is now 18 years old and Willoc Grape is 16. Both have been rapping ever since about 7 years old! Back Then, as they told me, "We weren’t nearly as serious about our music as we are now, but it seems like it just grew up with us, and we stuck with it like a mother and their child!" "So, now, In sparity of our time, we write songs and Toi has to write songs and make the beats that fit the song’s grooves."
Basically, as life goes on...they just love to rap, make beats, record, and get heard! The majority of the time, even-though they are cousins, when they’re around each other, they talk or work on strictly BIZ, in other words their music! From the music and other’s opinions that I’ve heard, they rap and make beats for everyone that may ever listen to music! The sound is like no-one else you’ve ever heard! THEY’RE AMBITIOUS AND ON A MISSION, TO GET HEARD, SIGNED, LIKED, AND LOVED, BY EVERYONE!
