I am a vampyre, several thousand years old, and although I was born with the name Aleric, Iam also known as Falconer. I seek those sacred objects stolen from the ancient red city ofMyrryd, the birthplace of the vampyres of my tribe.
The first is The Priest of Blood himself, called Merod, who is buried in the depths of thenecropolis of Alkemara, and with him, the powerful staff of the Nahhashim, made from thebones of those gray priests of the Old Kingdom of Medhya.
The second is the mask of The Lady of Serpents, which has been stolen by a sovereign of thedead called Nezahual, in a forgotten continent.
And the third is a burning sword that some have called the Nameless. It lies in the depthof the earth itself, forged by those creatures called the Asmodh, who came before even theimmortal vampyres. With this, I will seek out -- and destroy that most corrupt of mortals-- The Queen of Wolves, and her shapeshifters and shadow priests.
With these weapons and this power, I will bring the war of the vampyres against thecorruption of the mortal kingdoms, or I will go to my Extinguishing.
I have written my story, told to novelist Douglas Clegg, in the trilogy called TheVampyricon. These three books of the early years of that Lost Century of immortal history, are titled The Priest of Blood, The Lady of Serpents, and The Queen ofWolves.

My Interests

Vampires, paranormal, supernatural, and the hidden cities of the world as well as the secret histories of those of my tribe -- the vampires.

I'd like to meet:

Readers, vampire-fans, those who wish to explore the ancient cities of Alkemara, Hedammu, Myrryd, and the towers of Taranis-Hir.

Books:

The books of my first century include The Priest of Blood , The Lady of Serpents , , and The Queen of Wolves , this third book coming out on September 4, 2007.
These books explore what brought me to my tribe of vampires, and my thirst for knowledge and wisdom as well as blood.
Some of my favorite modern reading includes:
Sheridan le Fanu, Mary Shelley, John Polidori, Anne Rice, Christine Feehan, Bram Stoker, Les Daniels, Laurell K. Hamilton, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Stephen King, Chelsea Quinn Yarbro, Jeanne Kalogridis, F. Paul Wilson, Charlaine Harris, Jim Butcher, Neil Gaiman, and other writers who take the paranormal and the supernatural and bring it into fantasy, horror, suspense, historicals, dark fantasy, romance, and vampires.
