UPDATE: The Logan finished a western and mountain region (USA) tour in September with Paper Mache. We are now getting ready to go back out with Paper Mache in November 2007 for another two weeks in the west/mountains.

The Logan operates on the principle of POSIDIY: positive do it yourself. Think for yourself, speak for yourself and take the music scene and make it your own. They've certainly accomplished that and more in a remarkably short period of time.
"Standing tall with the world right in front of me," Conor wrote in his notebook in April 2007, preparing to record vocals for To the Right. The lyrics are representative of Conor's mindset at the start of this incredible musical journey.
This is a band whose music and lyrics are a powerful anthem-style call to the masses to persevere through the obstacles to a better world and fight to make change.
The Logan had only begun to take form weeks earlier, in January 2007 with an idea: positive, yet accessible, hardcore rock music. Conor Logan made the decision to leave his former band, The Days in Between, and fulfill his vision as frontman of his own band. Tim Nixon soon joined on guitar and writing began for their debut, Taking the Sun With You, which has just come out at shows on June 17th, and is now available on iTunes, Sony Connect, Amazon, Rhapsody, and Napster.
Since release Taking The Sun With You and starting to play key southern California shows, Nixon has decided to further his career as a high school teacher, leaving the band. Brian Bash has moved to playing guitar and bass at the same time, cleverly utilizing technology to accomplish this task. Conor has since moved back to the drums and plays the role of lead singer and drummer.
What will you hear at a The Logan concert? Look forward to positive message-driven lyrics and melodies, high energy songs meant to get bodies in motion and a unified front of sound meant to change your heartbeat and course of thought.
The Logan doesn't stop with Conor and Brian. A supportive group of street-teamers, videographers, comedians and writers is quickly forming in support of this band, recognizing the potential in the music, the live shows and the charisma of this duo.
"I've got to reach you," belts Conor on Clear Your Mind as he asks for the ears of Americans, knowing that the hearts will follow. This defines the mindset of the band: The Logan hits your ears and calls the listener to action. You are encouraged to get outside, think for yourself and think of the less fortunate; these ideals drive a raw musical form meant to grow and invigorate you, the listener.
