Junkie & Hawky ( Secret Fusion - H )
It was the mysterious time of year 2000, when Junkie & Hawky gained a residency
at the legendary Fless Club in Sopron, Western Hungary.
They didn't need much time to charm the crowd there, and soon they started their
own clubnight, called Secret Fusion, which shortly became one of the most popular
country-side project of Hungary.
In 2003 they had to say good-bye to Fless, as the club was closed down, and they
found a new residency at Hangár Music Garden. However they had so many
memorable nights at Fless, moving to the bigger Hangár Music Garden meant new
challenges.
Junkie & Hawky made it well, and since then they get even more fans at
Secret Fusion nights. Of course a popularity never happens without a good reason:
to catch the interest of their crowd, they started to invite international djs like
Bill Patrick ( USA ), Metope ( D ), Basteroid ( D ), Makai ( UK ),Eric Fischer ( A )
Tibcurl ( A ), Crazy Sonic & Fauna ( A ) and many others. At the same time Junkie and Hawky always make their best to
present high quality dj-sets, while playing in a line up with such a great artists
or simply alone.
For today, their unique style, which goes from sexy, minimal-house to extatic and
groovy tech-corners, made them one of the best known young talent in Hungary.
They play at the most important Hungarian festivals, and in the country's best clubs.
They got appearances in a line up with Carl Craig, Josh Wink, Timo Maas,
Lee Burridge, Michael Mayer, Roger Sanchez, Tiefschwarz, Silicone Soul,
Darren Emerson, Hernan Cattaneo, Junkie XL, James Zabiela and many many more…
There is no doubt they are the ones who deserve our attention.
