A short History:
Lestrange are a Heavy Metal/ hard rock band based on the Sunshine Coast (Queensland, Australia).
Forming in September 2006, the band was originally named:Point Blank, which the brainchild of Robert Steel (Bass/Vocals) and Angus Johnson (Drums).
Since formation the band have recorded various original pieces, which have all appeared on thier debut demo: Wasted Peace ep. (demo), released at the start of 2008. While still under the name of Point Blank.
In June 2008 Angus was fired from the band after 3 years as drummer and roadie.
At the present time Lestrange have been working on songs for thier next demo, titled, Shot At... Point Blank. 4 new and original songs are fresh in the pipeline. And our first 5 original songs will appear on the demo as well! This NEW DEMO CD will launch the band in a new light, under a new name.
Writing and jamming sessions are a top priority and we are always looking for fresh blood to jam with.
