Cold Alaskan rythm dwarves and a Southern California guitar wizard where fire and ice combine... The Heathen Kings of Olde unite the large chorus and the shameless solo... And to fruition it shall come. With the intense droning of the half-man/ half-yeti Ryan James Davis (The Buttons), the bass is simplified and mind-numbing. The cosmos wandering shaman, Charlie " Chuck" Mcree( Vertibird/ Momma, The Hatchet Brothers, The Deer Johns), intimidates nuclear clocks with ridiculous swinging/hard hitting accuracy. Finally, the guitar becomes a needed extension of Derrick Clark's lacking phallus through bigsby manipulation. His vocals summon dark powers unknown to the present. As a whole HKO seeks to return to pure unadulterated seductive fun. This band arose from the souless catacombs to challenge the needed task. Making tight shirt emos cry, fashionistas turn to dust, and nuns turn into sluts. This music is NOT for the lighthearted. Indeed this music is for the few who still appreciate ROCK N ROLL.
