About Me

Martial arts is one of my primary passions. I have practiced intensively for the past 14 years and I love it just as much as when I started. It has been a wonderful journey of expressing the limits of human movement and possiblity, expanding awareness and integrating as many truths into one house. Lately, my focus has been on the healing arts and meditation.I love to read. Usually, I'm reading three books at one time. I have not read a fiction book for quite a while but it would be a great change of pace.Every six months or so I like to tickle the ivory and play some of my favorite pieces from Brahms, Chopin and Beethoven. I do not own a piano anymore ever since I focused on martial arts but I enjoy reconnecting to the roots of much of my passionate artistic expression.I have travelled to a wide variety of places. So far, I have been most inspired by the beauty of the south of France. I see a pattern now that I am more drawn to nature - no monuments, museums etc. just soaking up all that natural wonder.Hedonist Extraordinaire. I am less excessive now but my appreciation for the sensual parts of life is infinite. Whether it is savoring my favorite tea, wine, food or a massage, I engage with it full force.Spending quality time with sincere and caring friends is a true gift - it can be a laugh, a deep conversation, a silly one or just an unspoken understanding. It also affords me to give of myself in many creative and surprising ways.I do not have a particular religious path but I have put more energy into unfolding my spiritual path. Meditation has been a central practice for me but to be fair there has been a multitude of practices (large and small) that I have experimented and incorporated into this life experience.I am a very expressive person. I am very open to sharing my sincere beliefs to those around me.

I'd like to meet:

The most important quality I look for in friends is a zeal for life. Sincerity, loyalty and an openness to share each other`s experiences without reservation have been what I have valued in all of my closest relationships. The relationships that I have been most fulfilling to me were those with a shared vision for growth and a willingness to navigate through each other's angels and demons. People who can make me laugh and appreciate my humor as well get serious bonus points.
