About Me

My Interests

Music, fishing, reading, learning, traveling, dogs, computers, Thief, hanging out with/visiting good friends, coffee in the morning and beer in the evening, getting out on the water early on an overcast day, the sound of a Pike hitting topwater baits, fog, slow-rolling thunder, getting caught in the rain, silence, walking barefoot in the dirt, setting up camp, not having a stitch of "style".....

I'd like to meet:

A 14 lb. Northern

Music:

Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Frank Zappa and The Mothers, The Greatful Dead, Skynyrd, The Allman Brothers, The Beatles, The Doors, Jimi, Rush, Radiohead, Helmet, Stevie Wonder, Robert Johnson, Miles, 'Trane, Monk, Wayne Shorter, Gonzalo Rubalcaba, Jaco, Mahler, Strauss (Richard), Ives...So to sum it up: a bunch of stuff.I don't think I've actually bought a cd other than classic rock, jazz, or classical in... several years, and I almost never listen to the radio, so if you were to name a recent band... in all likelihood I'd go, "Huh?"

Movies:

The Big Lebowski, Dodgeball, A Fish Called Wanda, Blazing Saddles, Office Space, Star Wars (the originals), LotR, Taxi Driver, The Deer Hunter...I go to movies rarely, can't be bothered to buy any more VHS tapes since they'll be phased out within a few years I'm sure, and I don't yet own a DVD player. That may all change when I build a new computer... within the next eon or so, bank account positive permiting.

Television:

I'm really not even sure why the fuck I have a television. It's an ancient junker anyway. I can't remember the last time I turned it on--it was for Family Guy to be sure, but that was many weeks ago. If I had cable and a halfway decent tube to watch, I might feel differently.

Possible hiatus...

I'm writing this from my bro's comp. My bios is not loading for some reason.  I may be able to fix this problem by replacing the cmos battery, but if not, I may be looking at a spontaneous system...

Already making progress...

After conceding that it was just too painful to keep fighting Windows 98 again and again, I installed Win2k and the clunker is at least functional enough for me to use until I either a) break down and...
