About Me

I'm a hippie and a rocker chick. I love the outdoors, camping, hacky sack, reading, writing, and classic rock n' roll!

I have a lesbian crush on Janis Joplin.

I'm kind of a nerd for video games. I love going to arcades and I'm a junkie for World of Warcraft. I'll kick your ass at any Mortal Kombat game, and I will fucking drop you in Marvel vs. Capcom. But seriously, I'm fun to play with ;)I can blow smoke rings and my favorite places to be are natural bodies of water, whether it be the ocean or the hot springs near my house.

I'm a whiskey girl, and if I'm not in the mood for liquor, I'll just drink a few pints of stout to get a buzz... but that rarely happens; beer is really more of a mid-day drink for me. If I want to get hammered (which isn't too often), I have to drink the hard stuff... and I have to drink kind of fast, otherwise I'll just keep drinking and not feel a thing! (Not trying to imply that I'm a boozer or anything, I just have the tolerance of an Irish dock worker.)

Guitars make me hot (not people playing guitars... ok, well, sometimes, but usually it's just the music coming from the guitar that does it!) and I'm always wanting to party with musicians.

I've been modeling for about a year now, and I couldn't have picked a better job! It's amazing - I get to meet a lot of new and interesting people and travel for free, under the right circumstances.

I'm an avid user of cannabis, which is probably why I'm not crazy, and I believe strongly that it should be legalized, or at least decriminalized and regulated. The entire country would benefit from it economically and environmentally... for example, did you know that 10,000 acres of hemp will produce as much paper as 40,000 acres of average pulp (forest) land? Not to mention the fact that we could get almost every American off of anti-depressants and Marinol (which, might I add, only includes delta-9 THC which is not nearly as effective alone as it is when countered by the proper cananbinoids such as cannabidiol [an anti-convulsant] and cannabichromene [an anti-inflammatory which contributes to the pain-killing effect of cannabis]).

I can't stand fake people or personality chameleons, and I try to surround myself with intelligent and interesting people.

I hardly wear makeup (unless it's needed for a photo shoot, then I have to cake it on), and nothing about me is fake. I have two tattoos, and will be getting a third soon. Other than that and a few piercings, everything I have, I was born with.

I'll begin ground aviation courses to receive authorization for the FAA (Private pilot - airplane) test sometime soon (this shit is just expensive), and will begin training for my pilot's license shortly thereafter. My great great (great?) grandfather, John Alexander Douglas McCurdy, is listed as one of the greatest aviators of all time - he was the first to fly the Silver Dart over Canada, shortly after the Wright brothers had their first flight. My grandfather was also a pilot and owned 2 planes in his time, so I think aviation is kind of in my blood. Besides, I would much rather conquer my fear of heights by flying a plane than jumping out of one. With my pilot's license, I plan on competing in Air Racing tournaments.

If you want to know more, just ask. And, seriously, if you're going to write me, make sure you're literate... I don't like reading "wangster" speak.

Rock on!

My Interests

Music, cannabis, good literature, writing (poetry and, currently, one book), good movies, good food, video games, anime, aviation, Gibsons, Fenders, Kung Fu movies, muscle cars, and major league baseball.

She was so stylish!

Is this not one of the best pictures you've ever seen?

I'd like to meet:

Deceased: Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, John Lennon, Layne Staley, George Harrison, Kurt Cobain, Leonardo Da Vinci, Arthur Rimbaud, Charles Baudelaire, Vincent van Gogh. Still Among Us: Bill Maher, Neil Gaiman, Paul Soter, Erik Stolhanske, Steve Lemme, Jay Chandrasekhar, Kevin Heffernan, William Shatner, Robby Krieger, Ray Manzarek, John Densmore, Eric Clapton, Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones, Ringo Starr, Paul McCartney, Angus Young, Slash, Chris Cornell, Quentin Tarantino, Michael Rosenbaum, Eric Christian Olsen, Tommy Chong, and anyone who has a unique personality that would like to party and smoke with me ~ but please, leave the drama at the door.

Music:

Psychedelic rock is, without doubt, the best music that exists. Of course, I couldn't limit myself to just one genre of music: Where's the fun in that? I like just about a little bit of everything. My favorite artists and bands are as follows: Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Eric Clapton, AC/DC (I prefer Bon Scott's music, but that's not to say that Brian Johnson isn't special and awesome, too), Pink Floyd, Joan Jett, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, The Moody Blues, Jefferson Airplane, Led Zeppelin, Free, Bad Company, Guns n' Roses, Bob Seger, Bobby Darin, Ray Charles, Steve Miller Band, Allman Brothers Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Black Crowes, Soundgarden, Sublime, Tenacious D, Flogging Molly, Alice In Chains, Van Halen, Montrose, Metallica, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Black Sabbath, Motley Crue, Aerosmith, Motorhead, Megadeth, Nirvana, Marilyn Manson, Nine Inch Nails, David Bowie, Rage Against The Machine, Velvet Revolver, Pat Travers, and anything else that rocks. And if you're smart, you'll go check out Wired Desire. They're the next big thing. Go listen NOW!!

Sex, drugs, and rock n' roll

I love this picture of Jimi... it's so psychedelic ;)

I love Brian Jones - he was fabulous.

One of my favorite things about Janis is she always had that big smile on her face :)

Bon was truly something special - never again will there be lyricist as bright and fastidious as he was.
