I'm a music freak (sometimes bore) so i spend a lot of time clubbing and at gigs and festivals, which in turn means a lot of dancing, laughing, jumping about, singing and general partying. Lovely arty and design stuff. Travelling which i hope to do more off and day dreaming which i should do less of.
Roy Lichtenstein so i could chat to him about his Pop Art marvelousness,(problematic as would need a time machine) Pete Tong cos i have loved him since i was about 12 and credit his Friday show with getting me into the repetitive beat scene. The cast of Neighbours circa 1987-88 and anyone who doesn't take things too seriously.
Hundreds and thousands of bands, singers, and dj folk, i will try and list them all one day!
The best film in the universe is Mannequin. And then all the Doris Day films after that. Anchorman and Talledega Nights i like as well because they are silly, Labyrinth for some cool goblins and the stairs bit and who could forget "dance magic dance". Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Trainspotting and The Departed for some grit, Scarface (i mostly like the clothes in this oooh and the big sunset screen wall thing)
Peep Show, Curb your Enthusiasm, Ugly Betty, Project Catwalk, The Apprentice and Passport to the Sun which sadly has disappeared from our screens these days.
I used to be good at getting through books, now i am ruuuubish at it, but heres some i enjoyed anyways - All Irvine Welsh books, Laura Hird - Born Free, Gangs - Tony Thomson, Louis Theroux - Call of the Weird, Martin Bengtsson - If your Not In Bed By 10, Come Home! Geoff Dyer - Paris Trance and Yoga For People Who Can't be bothered to do it. The White Isle - Stephen Armstrong and The Art of Barbie which has no words but lots of pictures of Barbie dressed in cute designer outfits.
