I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Hello, I am Kizzy Grahame, I am 24 and from Oxford.
My main aim is to showcase my writing and to make new friends along the way and so I had better tell you a little about me first! My favourite things are as follows: My boyfriend Lewis, my family, friends, My cat Lily, anything chocolate related, Ben and Jerry's Phish food, duvet days, sunshine, clothes shopping, daytime television, hot baths, lie-ins, thunderstorms, skinny jeans, odd socks, smiling and making people happy.
I have been writing for a few months after having to give up work due to an illness called Fibromyalgia. I write about whatever I fancy at the time, a few are serious ('Love is', 'Hopes and Dreams', 'A Thank You') others are amusing looks at everyday life ('Television Adverts', Magazines and the Media', 'Supermarkets'). For more about me I suggest 'Life and Fibromyalgia' for a lighthearted look at being chronically ill at the age of 23!
I find it difficult to promote myself and so I shall let others do it for me! Here are some of the lovely things people have said about my writing:
'I've read all your blogs now, keep them up they are very entertaining'
'As a fellow book-worm I have to say your blogs are fantastic'
'Great writing, keep it up girl!'
'Your work is excellent, it always puts a smile on my face so thank you'
'I have been laughing out loud at your writing, its absolutely fantastic'
I hope that will persuade you to take 5 minutes to have a look around and I would love to hear from you if you have any comments.
Thanks
Kizzy xxx
By the way, I would also like to point out that I didn't take any of the photos on my page, they are all from a free images website, I'm no David Bailey I can assure you!
P.S I am a bit concerned by the amount of myspace profiles being deleted, I would not remove mine on purpose so if it suddenly isn't there any more, please search for me as I will have quickly set up another one! xx

Supermarkets

I love going to the supermarket, I really do. I quickly revert back to being 5 years old, the only difference being that I hold real cash in my sweaty little palms, rather than a wad of fivers from th...

The Floods

Great Britain is hardly well known for its 'Great' weather and it's no surprise that our summer has, so far; been a bit of a wash-out.  Yep, it's July, supposedly the middle of the summer season...

Hopes and Dreams

I am a very simple girl, with modest ambitions, I don't wish to be rich and I have no desire to be famous; I just want to be as happy as I possibly can be. I enjoy choosing to wear make-up but I am p...

Television Adverts

It all began with a man named Barry Scott. He burst into our living rooms with his perfectly side-parted, G.I Joe-style haircut, shouting about 'Universal Degreasers' and generally behaving like a com...

Life and Fibromyalgia

I have never been what you'd call youthful and energetic. Even as a child I preferred sitting in a cosy classroom listening to the latest 'Now' album or flicking through a copy of 'Where's Wally?' to ...
