About Me

Hey! I'm a 32 year old lover of the 80's big hair band glory days. I have no tattoos or peircings or anything else that's permanent because in this day and age, not having these things is what's different. I don't try to be different for different sake, just try to be me. If what I like is out, so be it. If what I like is in, GREAT!!!!! It'll be that much easier to find stuff pertaining to it. I'm a writer, (nothing published yet) and I'm a leather addicted cross-dresser. I chose the name Roxy Red because to me it struck a balance between my personal make-up/hair metal culture and my gender-bending tendancies. So yeah, I'm kind of a weirdo. Not your typical guy in ANY sense of the word. In fact the ONLY permanent thing that I would want to do to my body is to get rid of all my body and facial hair because to me, that stuff just ain't all that attractive. SHAVING IS SUCH A CHORE!!!!!... I love going to the movies, singing karaoke, being the center of attention, and overall just turning heads. I also love to encourage my friends and acquaintances to be the best "them" that they could possibly be. We're all unique, and we're all individuals....
It's wierd, I've always felt a bit out of sync with the world around me. Ever since I can remember. It's nobody's fault really, just my natural state of mind I guess. I've learned to embrace the out-of-sync-i-ness. (Yeah yeah, that's not a real word... WHATEVER!) Overall people seem to take a liking to me. Some don't but what are you going to do huh? Can't please everyone. If you got a real problem with then you can just.... ...And on that note, believe me when I say that you will NEVER meet anyone quite like myself..... My Interests

Anywhere from Horror flics to real life paranormal investigations, Sci-fi to UFO phenomina. I'm into 80's make-up and leather wearin' hair metal I guess you could say that I'm on the outer fringes of what could be considered "normal pursuits." I've never been into sports really, I guess I'd rather watch something with a story.

80's Hair Metal, such as Motley Crue, Poison, L.A. Guns, Bang Tango, Hanoi Rocks, Pretty Boy Floyd, and a plethora of others...I'm also into big epic sounds such as Meat Loaf powered with the immeasurable writing talent of Jim Steinman.In general I'm into non-whiney shit, which unfortunately, alot of music has been like this for a very long time now...OH AND BY THE WAY, ALICE COOPER IS MY NUMBER 1 ROCK IDOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My AMERICAN IDOL if you will!!!

Movies:

Horror and Sci-fi. Love the George Romero 'Dead' movies. A big fan of the 'Friday the 13th' series. John Carpenter's 'The Thing', 'Alien' series, and just about anything else freaky and bloody!!!!! I also love to watch really cheesy "B" movies like SORORITY BABES IN THE SLIMEBALL BOWL-O-RAMA!!!!! Any movie that has an imp from hell trapped in a bowling trophy RULES!!!!!! I'm also a HUGE Star Wars fan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Television:

Oh man..... Without television I would probably curl up and die of sheer boredom! For the most part I HATE reality T.V. It has just gotten so ridiculous and boring. All time favorite shows include, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Married with Children, Friday the 13th the Series, The X-files, The Simpsons, Family Guy, Werewolf, Enterprise, and Sliders (Before the Sci-fi Channel got funky with it). Current favs include Smallville, Heroes, Supernatural, Battlestar Galactica, Metal Mania on VH-1 Classic, and Ghost Hunters on Sci-Fi. (Go TAPS!!!!!!!) That's a genuinely good reality show!!!!! Oh, and now that it's back. Um... Family Guy again!!!! LOL.

I had a lot of plans for world domination as a child... LOL!

Books:

I'm actually not much of a reader. It's not that I'm deficient in that area, it's just that I'm real picky and get bored easily. I mostly read Star Wars books, or books about real life hauntings or UFO experiences. The Da Vinci Code was interesting. When we were married, Nation invoked the power of wife and made me read it. I was pleasantly surprised. If a book bores me it litteraly makes me feel as if I've been rubbing the actual pages across my eyeballs. Kinda weird huh? LOL. I get headaches, and my eyeballs throb. It's been like this since I was very small. Noone could ever explain why... By the way, I'm also writing a 5-part book series....
