THE WM3 POETRY & PHOTO BOOK
It’s really coming together folks!!!!!!! Mockingbird and Cali are shooting for a publishing date in June, just in time for WAD we hope.
Mockingbird has received many wonderful submissions, but they’re still in need of WM3 inspired photos. So, if you have any of you in your shirt, maybe a pic from a show, PLEASE CONTACT MOCKINGBIRD TO GET HER EMAIL SO YOU MAY SUBMIT THEM.
Please remember, you are submitting your work for it to be CONSIDERED. Every submission, sadly, cannot make the book. Do NOT take any rejection personally! If your first poem doesn’t make it, try another, or edit it and try again. Same for photos!
MOCKINGBIRD IS NOW TAKING PENCIL/PEN DRAWINGS AS WELL!!!! If you’re talented with pencils and pens, please submit some drawings!!!! All WM3-inspired, of course. For example, I know of someone who is going to submit a drawing that is a hand grabbing prison bars. Or you could draw the WM3. Don’t forget the children!!!!!!!!! It would be wonderful if someone did a drawing of the three children to be in the book somewhere as well! If anyone needs pictures of the WM3 or the children, or anything else, to go by while drawing, please contact me and let me know what you need; I have up to date pics of the WM3 as well as a pile of other photos, so I can supply you with just about anything you might need to help. GET CREATIVE FOLKS! This is going to be an amazing project that everyone will want a copy of and will no doubt raise a good deal of money for the WM3 Defense Fund!

Almost Home 2006

On March 31, 2006 former Misfits' singer Michale Graves will spearhead a two-month long national campaign to promote Damien Echols' new book, Almost Home. Graves' tour, dubbed "Almost Home 2006" will hit 55 cities across the country leading up to WM3 World Awareness Day on June 3, 2006.
Graves says, "It is my intent to reach out to as many people as I can, as so many others have in the past, using the media, the internet, spoken word, music and activism to give Damien's' words and story a greater chance of being heard and continue this fight for truth and justice where there has been none so far. I urge everyone to help, contribute and get involved in this anyway that they can."
Michale's tour is over, but I leave this info posted as he still deserves much respect for the time and effort that he has, and continues to, selflessly devote to supporting the freedom of the West Memphis Three.
