I am one sick and twisted individual. I guess it goes back to when I was a kid growing up in Milwaukee. My parents were both into horror and gore movies and they started taking me with them to the drive in theatre at a very early age. My dad had a '65 Corvette that he took to car shows called the Executioner. The pic is below. He used a customized Hearse all set up with pinstriped flames, stacks sticking out of the hood and skulls with red lights in the back. He had a skeleton that he set up in the car for the shows that he hauled in the back in it's own casket. We always took the Hearse to the drive in so you could imagine the looks we got. My mom used to pick me up from school with it also. When he sold the car and Hearse, he kept the casket and thats what I used for a toy box. So as you can see I didn't have the usual, normal upbringing most kids were graced with.
I had a friend named Mark Borchardt who was a big time horror movie fanatic. He became obsessed with making his own movies. He started getting Fangoria magazine from the first issue and when he was about 14 or 15 he got his first movie camera. His parents were really disgusted with the stuff that we used to do with the movie making. He used to buy livers, cow tongues, and some kinds brains I think they were cow brains but I'm not sure and use them in his movies. And lots of cherry koolaid of course. We had a lot of fun in those days then I moved away a couple years later and lost touch with him. Then a couple years ago I was at the video store and I saw a movie that looked kinda freaky and I saw it was about him!
