What do you need to know?..... I'm a singer/songwriter. I write everything from Salsa, r&b. Hip-hop, folk, country, everything on the planet relating to music. I have two songs now being recorded by a well known Gold album R&B songstress (Whose name I will not mention right now but trust you'll all soon know...)..... My music is my life however..... I have written song in and about every occurance of my life.... my songs are my personal manifesto..... they are like a living journal of my life from heartaches and trials, to triumphs and blessings..... I've seen alot in my life and my songs are just the stories what i've seen along the way. Every artist would say that their craft is their life..... I would say that my music has been my greatest blessing and my greatest curse..... It has been my blessing because it has saved me from almost certain death... It has been my curse because the muse is perverse and often times she has forced me to confront my deepest pains, fears, and sorrows to the point where I cannot sleep until I spill her verses painfully onto paper and release them from the depths of my soul whe more often then not I would be more than content to forget about my feelings and bury them away somewhere in the bottom of the sea...... My music is not only my manifesto.... it is my only witness. I am married to it... It is the only proof of my very existence on this earth. It serves as my last and only voice after I am gone from this earth, it is an eternal spirit of my being and life...... (Stop me I get too deep...LOL) Music is my direct link to God; my footprints in the sand....Even at times whe my mind, body, and spirit convinced me that there was no God, music nagged at me , poked, and clung to me until I could deny it no more. Music led me to my salvation. It is my truth in the light of God in a world that seems at times consumed by so much darkness......Each song has saved me in spite of myself, each verse a perseverence of the human soul.Through my songs I always find God.... I can never deny the existence of heaven..... I am a woman who has travelled many miles in many shoes...... (You read it right...) I've lived everywhere from penthouse suites to New York streets, to the backseat of my '88 accord... (no I don't still have it..... and yes I have a home now....) Ive dined in the must luxurious restaurants, as well as found myself waiting and hoping for handouts...... I've soared to heaven on the wings of love and also had my heart ripped from my chest mid-flight and thrown into the deepest hollows of despair.... For eacj of these moments there is a song.... Some long lost in time, some scribbled, some torn, some faded, tear-stained paper pieces of my soul.... some hidden or forgotten forevermore..... One day I will gather them all....................................Till then...........................................My only prayer is this........................................................ .........................................................DEA R LORD, SHOULD I DIE TODAY, BE IT YOUR WILL, MAY JUST ONE PERSON FIND EVEN PART OF MY PAPER SOUL MAY THEY BEAR WITNESS TO MY DREAMS, AND HEAR THE VERSES OF MY LIFE, AND SHOULD THEY EVER FIND THEMSELVES ALONE AND SEARCHING FOR YOU, DECEIVED BY THE DARKNESS OF THE DEVIL AND THIS WORLD, MAY YOU SHINE YOUR TRUTH AND MERCY UPON THEM. GRANT THEM THE SAME GRACE THAT YOU HAVE BESTOWED UPON ME THOUGH UNWORTHY I MAY BE. MAY THEY FIND THEIR WAY BACK TO YOU THROUGH MY SONG. I'm a food network addict..... one day I'd like my own chain of restaurants....... I design clothing and jewelry.... I'll be posting some of my designs soon on the web... I'll keep you posted!!! I'm also write screenplays in my sparetime. I love foreign languages.... I speak Arabic, Japanese, and Swahili....moderately.... and Spanish is my second (and at times.... my First Language.... if you know me and my Boricuaisms spanglish you understand this... LOL. I enjoy painting and art and have studied art internationally. I love to travel.... anyplace I want to see it..... I'm open-minded and spiritual..... I enjoy people of all sorts... even people noone else seems to like... LOL.... I'm a little bit of a softie for children and older people.... I cry watching the feed the children ads...(which is a big contradiction because I'm also an Ex-Marine...) Yeah you read right..... anyway, moving right along....LOL....
