Funny movies and dramas...I love a good cry!! But, I hate seeing too much suffering!! I hate scary movies and despise gory nasty killing sprees and twisted sick evil characters on film except I looove Kill Bill vol. 1 & 2, probably cause Uma's character majorly triumphs over tragedy!!! I also love period movies and indie films...i like deep or sometimes referred to as weird movies like eternal sunshine of the spotless mind...stuff no one gets, but man i do...not afraid to go there...just afraid of scary movies...yucky, they make me have freaky nightmares...something i already have without seeing horror flicks...so i can't even watch a commercial for a horror flick...i cover my ears and sing you are my sunshine or something happy ...but here are some great movies i love: Gone With the Wind, Sound of Music, An Affair to Remember, Wizard of Oz, Almost Famous, Black Snake Moan, The Song Remains the Same, The Color Purple,Whale Rider, O Brother Where Art Thou? Blue Crush, School of Rock, Thelma & Louise, Closer, Mr. Deeds, Napoleon Dynamite, The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, Purple Rain, St. Elmos Fire, Best in Show, A Mighty Wind, Dead Man, Chocolat, Edward Scissorhands, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory-both gene's and johnny's version, Corpse Bride, sleepy hollow,What's Eating Gilbert Grape, Nick of Time, Pirates of the Caribean,Don juan DeMarco, Cry Baby, Finding Neverland, The Man Who Cried, Blow, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas--basically anything Johnny Depp is in...he's my favorite, Old School, Elizabethtown, Hope Floats, Fletch, Fletch Lives, Shallow Hal, Talladega nights, The Sweetest Thing, Only you, Vacation, Forest Gump, Meet the Parents/Fockers, Along Came Polly, Starsky & Hutch, Beverly Hills Cop, Anchorman (mostly i watch the flute scene--it's funny), Superstar, This is Spinal Tap, Say Anything, Serendipity, The Princess Bride, high fidelity, Romy and Michele's high School Reunion, Benny & Joon, Desperately Seeking Susan, Never Been Kissed, Titanic, Shrek, Dream girls, Honeymoon in Vegas, Mask of Zorro, Life, boomerang, the golden child, Splash, Big, Where the Heart Is, Dances With Wolves, Stand by Me, Black Sheep, How to lose a guy in 10 days, Ever After, Braveheart, Ray ,walk the line, Office Space, Dazed and Confused, Tenacious D, The Jerk, Ground Hog Day, I'm gonna Git You Sucka, Animal House, Dumb and Dumber, Liar Liar, Me, Myself & Irene, There's Something About Mary, Wedding Crashers, Coming to America, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Heathers, Trading Places, Zoolander, Terms of Endearment, Little Miss Sunshine, Less Than Zero, Weird Science, Rocky, It's a Wonderful Life, Fantasia, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Waiting to Exhale, Good Fellas, Pulp fiction, Unforgiven, The Accused, Ghost, Garden State, Ghost World, Rebel Without a Cause, 1969, Mermaids, Sideways, 70's cartoon the Hobbit, the lord of the rings series, the good, the bad and the ugly, the green mile, mystic river, lady & the tramp, sleeping beauty
When I watch...I like music documentaries or live performance etc., public television shows some cool music programs like their blues series with rare footage and the woodstock documentary, very old cartoons, anything about history, anything funny or informative or touching. I hate those stupid criminal investigation shows and court room drama crap...come on already they are all so freakin' predictable and gross...i don't want to see a freakin' autopsy...nasty...and i don't want to know some crazed killer's story (it instills fear and it gives them power—sickening) who thought up those dumb shows??? I looove Saturday Night Live, Family Guy, Sarah Silverman Program, Antiques Roadshow, Most Haunted, Psychic Kids, Paranormal State, Ghost Hunters--a little scary i know... but i'm not afraid of spirits they visit me all the time...and so i know they can't hurt you...Lisa Williams, America's Psychic Challenge, Ice Road Truckers, Snoop Dog's Fatherhood, In Living Color, High School Reunion, The Two Corey's, Three's Company, I Love Lucy, Classic Comicview, Last Comic Standing, Oprah(when i can), ...I flip alot and I think my most watched channel would have to be ...the T.V. Guide Channel...but not on purpose...lol!! I like Music Choice more than VH1 and MTV cause they actually play music and they play more than one genre of music... Check out the most beautiful documentary...it is breathtaking!!! You will be absolutely mesmerized on the cinematography and cutting edge camera techniques. You feel as though you are a migrating bird flying alongside for the ride of your life!!! Unfortunately this video quality is bad ...but you'll get the point!! It's called "Winged Migration" and airs on pbs and animal planet...do not miss this documentary...
I don't like to read ...it hurts my brain...hehehe...BUT...I am in the book publishing business and have yet to produce/publish my own...which someday I hope to remedy... I am better at writing songs I think so this is a challenge I welcome...I do like to read dream analysis books because I have always had vivid dreams...so much that they feel more real than life itself...and I seldom have trouble remembering them...and you know what they say— "The best interpreter of a dream is the dreamer himself" at any rate...when I read there has to be some point to it other than entertainment...
