Add to My Profile | More VideosI was born not so long ago. Someone once said that I am 8 years old. Which would mean that I was born 1999. Which is of course not true! Someone once said I am only 1, counting down from 3! Although that was a child. Some think I am quite old and totally insane. I couldnt imagine someone saying old and normal! My mum and my dad are the sweetest and most down to earth people in the world. They gave me so much and without their love I d be lost in a world of (un)madness. Especially the world of filmmaking. I once was a photographer but I got bored of fashioneditors and shooting models against a wall. Then I tried to become a rocklegend as the singer in a band called "Sleep on the Couch" and of course after making an album, I almost gave up on music. But only almost! After 8 years I thought I should try it with directing. And I was really lucky and then again...not. Depends how one looks at it. Now I have shot way over 100 commercials around the globe and one, so to say, Hollywoodmovie. I feel god damn blessed that I can live a life where i simply create. In ‘2005 he wrapped up directing a feature film staring Gary Oldman and Robert Carlyle titled "Dead Fish". He is attached to a New Line Cinema project called Roofworld, a futuristic action thriller on the rooftops of London based on a novel by Christoph Fowler. Since 1998 Charley is part time owner of one of the most established German based commercial production companies – Gap Films. At the moment he is working on a independend feature film called Americaville out of LA.
