What can be said about Maq? Coming from Guadeloupe (French West Indies, the Caribbean), this young man was introduced to hip-hop via numerous classics. While his elder fellows would listen to Public enemy and LL Cool J tunes as well as pop,R'n B, rock or reggae hymns , he would sit down with them and try to digest all the good music flowin' into his ears...At the age of 16 Maqflah incorporated "PFK" , a local undaground crew , and began to rhyme with the other members. He flew to Toulouse,France, in 1997 and continued to practice his skills alongside Aron , Buddha aka DJ Imani, Sheyebb and his pal Alick.He went back to Guadeloupe in 2002 where he currently resides and he is trying to promote real hip-hop and good vibes. He put out the "Soul food" mixtape hosted by Dj Kila in 2003 and he has just released the second volume by teaming up with Guadeloupean emcee TYSME. He's also focusing on collabos , street Cd's and a solo EP project is brewing. Get ready for creole hip-hop (hip-hop kreol) !!
