We could compare them to a long list of bands. We could do that. Bands you've heard of, bands you've never heard of. We could talk about how great the shows are, or how the Guise saved our baby from a bear wielding a shark with a mouthful of African killer bees. But we won't. Because The Guise are unlike anything that has ever come before or will ever be seen again. Think we're over-selling it? Fuck you.
And fuck the naysayers who say everything has been done before. It hasn't, brother! I mean, who's ever heard of Incidentally Queer Dark Surf? You sure haven't. Frankly, we're even confused. But somehow it just works. Somehow you end up with more than music. You get synesthesia, baby. By that, we mean all of your tender nerves will be titillated by the sights and sounds (and smells) of The Guise very own circus of the absurd.
