The Sad Machines

Armed with an acoustic guitar, cello, and piano while backed by the precise beats of a true machine, the three members combine their eclectic musical backgrounds and talents into one new sound.
Ms. Davenport is classically trained but balances her orchestral background with a taste for the hardest of rocks offerings.
Ms. OShields is also classically trained and harnesses her piano skills to write tunes that would make any Smiths fan proud.
Mr. Mapua is a student of 90s rock and applies his alt-rock style and electronic tastes to his acoustic guitar and rhythmic backing.
With a strict focus on the music itself, The Sad Machines are able to look past most bands pitfalls and shun egos in order to create a style that is indefinable yet instantly relatable.
