LENTINOThe idea was to re-interpret in a contemporary way the character of the dwarf made in plaster cast that we can see in the gardens of various houses.
I wanted to create a metropolitan version of this tiny dwarf that is projected to the dynamism of our present times.I painted it in a pearl colour to make it assume a glamour or mysterious figure, even a deity between his fellows, than I made for him a case that was able to twist the perception of his real shape, that could break it down in a digital effect, even in an hologram to arrive sometimes to an undefined form.Behind the dwarf the case is painted in the same pearl colour, in this way his image vanish a little, but there is one element that still set him close to his origin, his identity: the outside is made of a thin foil of wood that is the link with his natural habitat, the garden.
