Lawrence A Flowers is a native of Jacksonville, Florida and is a blessing to the union of Mr. Lawrence and Frances Flowers. I am the youngest of four siblings to that union. I have three sisters and one brother. And yes my calculations are correct, lol. I graduated through the Duval county public school system and aquried my diploma from William M. Raines Sr High School. I then relocated to Tallahassee where I furthered my educational career, beginning at Florida State University where I studied as a Musical Performance Major. I later enrolled into Tallahassee Community College furthering my educational endeavors. Im a saved, serious, and silly type of guy. I'm saved by the grace of God, serious about my calling and being in the will of God, and silly enough to believe that God desires for me to enjoy life!
You can't know me without knowing the one that God has allowed me to possess. Ok, here we go... I began singing at a very young age. My first concert was at the age of five (Believe it, its true). I began singing throughout the Jacksonville area at various churches, school functions, and talent shows. That is until a particular engagement housed a broawdway singer by the name of Roslin Burroughs. She along with a team of producers invited me to New York where I recorded three songs for children's sing-along books by Silver Burdett. At the time I was eleven years old. Since then God has showed himself to be faithful, loving and unpredictablly GOOD. I recieved my calling into the ministry at the young age of 14 and was licensed and ordained at Little Rock Baptist Church, Jacksonville FL. In addition to my calling God has allowed and blessed me to sing in such arenas as Carnegie Hall, The White House for the president, St Peters Bacilica (hopefully its spelled right) for the Pope, The Pentagon in Washington DC, and many other great places. I have traveled to several places out side of the country including Rome, Florence, and Mulan, all of Italy; several continents in Trinadad; and several places in the Bahamas. I have also been blessed to tour with the Boys Choir of Tallahassee while sharing the platform with gospel greats such as Dr. Bobby Jones, Pastor Shirley Ceaser, Kim Burrel, Karen Clark-Sheard, Donald Lawrence, Ted & Sheri, Kirk Franklin, Yolanda Adams, Dorinda Clake-Cole, William Murphy, Vanessa Bell-Armstrong, Pastor John P. Kee, and many more. Last but Not Least... god has blessed me with the most wonderful ministry on this side of eternity. I lead a group of radical individuals that have set out to do the will of God by ANY MEANS NECESSARY! Im talking about the one and only Minister Lawrence Flowers and Intercession.
