About Me

.. Even though I am now thoroughly domesticated, lol, during the late '70's, through to the late '80's, I was a part of the Skinhead and scooter scene. If you were there too, (or just like to while the hours away looking at pictures of strangers), have a look at mypics to jog yer memory!

I happily admit to having been more "Bash Street Kid" than "bovver boy", and bought into the early philosophy of Madness...."Fuck art, let's dance..!". I was certainly nothing special. Just priveleged to be born at the right time, which meant I arrived at the right place, and had a lot of fun whilst getting there.Cheers,Haddie.

My Interests

Family, first, foremost, be all and end all (T.xxx A&F)...and that includes the dog! After that, I have a passion for music...I could lose the telly today..but have to hear tunes! Oh, and for the last few years I have taken up running....to keep me out of the offy, and going up a waistband!

I'd like to meet:

That's a toughie...I'll get back to you on that one!!

Music:

Where to start.....Northern soul/Motown/Reggae/Ska/2-tone/Early-punk/Indie/Small Faces-Kinks-Who plus the odd "guilty pleasure" in the collection...but I ain't tellin! BTW....how fuckin' cool is vinyl?

Movies:

Apocalypse Now....sooooooo much more than just a war film! Quadrophenia......responsible for a big chunk of my misspent youth. The Muppets "Treasure Island"..it's got the muppets in it...'nuff said!

Television:

Take it or leave it.......not even many "good" music programmes on any more, which strikes me as weird with so many music channels available. Must be getting old. Comedy is good...

Books:

Mostly non-fiction.....I've been cursed with a vivid imagination that makes it hard for me to focus on stories unless I know that they are real. It's a concentration thing and I have the mind of a moth.

Heroes:

"Take no heroes.....take only inspiration!.... .. ....
