Il progetto Idol nasce alla fine del 2005 da Tommy, Gabe,Giulian & Lapo.
I ragazzi cercano di fondere il proprio amore per la dea musica con un sound volgare,irriverente,dotato,romantico e diretto.
La creatura cresce e in poco più di due anni grazie alla donazione di una fan,gli IDOL incidono il primo demo,composto da sei pezzi, al Massive Arts studio di Milano, sound engineer:l’affermato professionista Marco Barusso (Lacuna Coil, Him, 883,etc..).
Numerosi i Live nei locali della capitale lombarda fino a quando il cantante Giulian parte per gli Stati Uniti, causa del graduale disfacimento della band…e nel Giugno2007 la magia finisce,in una cena amichevole e senza senso.
Tommy non si arrende e prende la situazione in mano e con Gabe riforma gli IDOL reclutando dopo svariate ricerche Eric (chit,ex DustyHeads), Dani(vox,ex Aritmya) e "Lu"(bass,vox monocromo).
La magia si riaccende e i vecchi pezzi vengono ri-registrati con la nuova line up.
A inizio 2008 la band si trova pronta al suo nuovo debutto on stage insieme ai Fratelli Coffee Overdrive.
Con l'arrivo dell'estate la band si spezza in parte e Woody esce dalla band.
La band non si ferma e nel giro di pochi giorni trova Damii LeRoy, nuovo bassista che subito si assesta nel gruppo e riesce a dare alla band una nuova energia che rende tutto ancora più inarrestabile.
The "IDOL" project born in late 2005, thanx to Tommy, Gabe, Giulian and Lapo, who try to blend their love for music with a vulgar, irreverent, romantic sound with a right-on-your face attitude. The creature grows up and in less than two years, thanx to a fan's donation, the IDOL recorded their first demo, including six tracks, at Massive Arts Studio in Milan, with the notorious sound engineer Marco Barusso(Lacuna Coil, Him, 883,etc..).
The band keep on having shows in Milan, since Giulian (vox) leave for the States, causing the progressive split of the band. In June 2007 the magic fade away, in a senseless and friendly night.
Tommy (drums) don't give up and, with Gabe taking care of guitars again, re-start the IDOL project. The new line up include even Eric (Guitar, former member of Dusty Heads), Dani (Vox, previpreviously singer of Aritmya) and Lu(Bass, singer in Monocromo). The magic starts again, and with this new line up they recorded again the old songs.
In early 2008, the band is ready for its new debut on stage, with our brothers Coffee Overdrive.
Summer comes, and Woody get out of the band...
The band doesn't stop, and just in a few days finds the 5th member: Damii LeRoy.
He starts right away to give energy to the band that is ready to kick ass again.
