ReBop Union
consists of three Italian musicians that have collaborated for more than five years now, Francesco Cigna, Orazio Maugeri and Tony Cigna. In 2006 they were joined by the two amazing Scandinavian jazz musicians, Thomas Fryland from Denmark and Daniel Franck from Sweeden.
Since the very first time, these five musicians appeared on stage as a band, there's been special feeling of connection between them. A feeling that we think is audiable on our new CD release "Blue Notes".
The idea in doing this recording, was to do a no nonsense jazz album, without the added glitz and polish of many of the jazz albums of today. We have tried to stay true to our selves, without following what ever fashions are in the music buisness at the moment.
We Sincerely Hope You Will Enjoy!
