About Me

Dave Quicks, bandleader/producer for BurnDown All-Stars and singer/guitarist for Princes of Babylon has finally taken the time to focus on his solo band. Delving into years of unpolished material, Dave has spent the last six months developing a potent new sound with BDAS drummer Tom Walling and POB bassist/singer Katman. Joining the crew for upcoming shows is Philly legend and mainstay Jay Davidson on keys and sax. Dave Quicks has always had the good fortune to work with great musicians. He has had a band since he was 15, even then gravitating toward remarkable artists. Writing and performing through high school and college he prepared himself for a career in music. When he returned to Philly, he immediately began playing with the group Princes of Babylon touring extensively with G Love, Steel Pulse and many others. After recording three records with the POB, Dave founded BurnDown Studios and began performing with and producing a large variety of other talented artists throughout Philadelphia. The BurnDown All-Stars formed a group and earned recognition locally and nationally as one of the best unsigned bands in the Northeast. Check out Dave's latest venture, a product of his years of experience making music. I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace)
