Mr. FatM.A.C, real name Mike Cruz, was born on the second day of September of 1984. He was born and raised for 18 years in Southwest Detroit near McGraw and Livernois. Music always been a big part in his life ever since he was a kid.In 1988, Mr. FatM.A.C attended Hanneman Elementary School at the age of 4. At the tender age of 8, MFM joined the Hanneman band class where he was taught how to play drums. Performing in front of students during school events, MFM knew he wanted to play drums for the rest of his life. By the age of 10 and last year in Elementary School, MFM could already read and write percussion music.In August of 1995, MFM attended Clippert Academy Middle School in Southwest Detroit. MFM joined the band class immediately at the school where he knew he was never going to give up playing drums. October of 1995, MFM's brother invested in a small amount of equipment where they both start making music. His brothers Pop, Ken, & Tyman formed a group known as Men of Myth. At the young age of 11, MFM was already writing and producing his own music as well as producing tracks for others he knew. It started off with just a 4track, a keyboard, and tape recorder.In Summer of 1998, MFM entered High School life at Chadsey High School. By this point, MFM's brother had recruited more than 20 other artists and invested in more equipment. Men of Myth was known throughout Southwest Detroit for being young talented individuals. In late 1998, MFM reunited with his long time friend from Pre-school and started their own group called the Lyricists. For the Lyricists and Men of Myth, this was only the beginning. Doing shows across the city, including Hart Plaza, local parties, Documentary called "Against The Wall" where they also appeared in the movie, and numerous high school events, Men of Myth was known everywhere they went.In Summer of 2000, MFM finally realized he wanted to quit writing for a while and stick with producing. In February of 2003, MFM invested in 2 Numark CD Turntables and a Numark mixer. With only 1 month of experience, MFM could scratch and mix any type of music that was handed to him. Dj'ing for local parties and producing his own mixtape, MFM knew music was his life. No matter if it was playing drums, writing music, producing, or just scratching and mixing, he knew anything he did in life was going to involve music.In the Spring of 2005, MFM was introduced to a talented individual by the name of Teddy through his cousin. MFM and Teddy talked a little bit and realized they had some things in common. In January of 2007, MFM and Teddy reunited through a friend they both know. After spending time talking about music, 3 months later they grew a very strong friendship. Teddy is CEO of Empire Records which is the next best thing to blow. Everyone affiliated with Empire Records is very talented and has their own style. So this summer, expect the unexpected and watch for the movement.2007 is ours!!!!!
