....................i love my beautiful woman Kelly, living music, living good, RASTAFARI, playing soccer, capturing moments of time onto film. thats right, i still use film. rollin' through the hood on my cruiser, mountain biking, hiking, camping, dancing, enjoying live music, exploring remote places, experiencing the masses, feeling free to do my thang, people, yea i'm a sucker for people. i like being around them and stuff. loving, sweating, exercising my structure as well as my brain. growing my dreadlocks till they drape 4 feet behind me on the ground.
roots people....painters, photographers, dancers, models, singers, poets, writers, players of instruments, etc, etc. lost friends, new ones, and anyone pushin good vibes....................................................... ......................................................NOTE:: ........ to answer a frequently asked question. yes, the shots in my cellphone series were taken with my cellphone camera. other than that i mostly shoot FILM on an old pentax, i dont own a digital but from time to time i borrow one for a few shots.
yes, yes, yes. cant describe it with letters into words, spelling names, making sentences. it just doesnt do music justice. music is sound waves and vibration and feelings and memories that have rocked my inner core from day 1. but since you asked, i like various styles including but not limmited to... reggae, jazz, latin jazz, hip-hop, blues, afro cuban, soul, funk, all african styles, crickets in the summer, and the wind in the pine trees. as far as particular artists go, well, first and foremost is burning spear. the rest are in no particular order. dennis brown, don carlos, dezarie, midnite, bambu station, buju, sizzla, jah mason, junior kelly, tony rebel, all the marleys, johnny osbourn, johnny clarke, pato banton, rico, luciano, L.K.J., culture, sly and robbie, pablo moses, freddie mcgregor, roots radics, etc. etc. muddy waters, taj mahal, habib koite, babatunde olatunje, oliver mtukudzi, orchesrta baobab, 'chachaito' lopez, airto, mongo santamaria, charlie haden, stan getz, miles, yusef lateef, mingus, spearhead, the roots, the fugees, de la soul, run dmc, a tribe called quest, beastie boys, and oh so many more...yall get the idea. right this minute my favorite is i space by sizzla, not going to lie to you. i do like a good heartfelt love song. so i cant seem to get enough beres hammond in my diet. "remember the songs that used to make you rock away." marcia griffiths usually makes me cry. would you be suprised if i said portishead. this amy winehouse woman is pretty friggin' rad, and sade has been melting my heart since i was a pup.
rockers is my all time favorite. countryman, harder they come, land of look behind, lush life, brooklin babylon, high fidelity. well, pretty much any john cusak movie. club paradise might be robin williams best movie ever. did they even give him a script? the search for animal chin. lord of the rings anyone? classic 'good over evil' battle.
those things are good for watching movies
