A bit about Miss Emmy Culley…..Born in West Bromwich England in 1966, the year that England won the FIFA football World Cup, Emily had a very happy childhood growing up in a vibrant multi-cultural society. Strongly influenced by her little Indian friends, she insisted on having her ears pierced at the age of three… an unheard of occurrence for little white girls of her time. Her love of flamboyant and extravagant dress and jewellery has continued to this day.A butcher’s daughter, Emmy is very proud of her working class roots. She was educated at Chase Terrace High School in Staffordshire and later took a Foundation Degree course in Fine Art at Stafford College of Art followed by an HND in Silversmithing, Engraving, Jewellery and Horology at Birmingham University. She studied for a Degree in the same subject, but left in her final year to have her only son Anthony John Patrick whom she adores. Anthony hopes to be a Film Director and has already produced some interesting documentaries. After leaving university she traveled extensively and has lived in Cyprus, Germany, GA USA, Zante (a Greek Island), Holland and Thailand where she learned Thai Massage to add to her extensive knowledge of Holistic Therapies.Miss Culley has successfully battled an addiction to prescription drugs and has worked in drug rehabilitation counseling for young people. She has also worked with young offenders and people with severe disabilities. She feels great empathy for all disadvantaged people and is violently opposed to prejudice of any kind. She visited young men on Death Row for many years.Emmy has had a successful spasmodic modeling career at different stages in her life and one day hopes to resume an unfulfilled acting career. She has appeared in numerous TV shows and played some short roles in films.Emily has recently battled homelessness and desertion resulting in a nervous breakdown. Because of the difficulties that Emmy has encountered in her life since she left her parental home at the age of twenty, she is eager to help others who have suffered similar traumas. Desertion, betrayal and abuse have left her mentally scarred and has left her very wary of relationships. She remains content with her family and small network of very precious friends and has finally sought help. She thoroughly enjoys escapism through her writing and is currently writing a novel. Emmy’s proof readers are extremely excited and impatient to read the finished book.Emmy is a vibrant, extremely sensual character full of creative ideas and is determined to succeed. This is evident in her writing and all of her life experiences of hope, love, sex, disappointment and despair come across in the pages of each of her enticing tales. Watch out for her provocative, sexually thrilling and incredibly exciting new novel that will be published in July 2008.
