Imagine
John Lennon
Imagine
there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine
All the people
Living for today
Imagine
There's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill
Or die for
And no religion too
Imagine
All the people
Living life in peace
You may say
That I'm a dreamer
But I'm not
The only one
I hope someday
You'll join us
And the world
Will be as one
Imagine
No possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed
Or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine
All the people
Sharing all the world
You may say
That I'm a dreamer
But I'm not
The only one
I hope someday
You'll join us
And the world
Will be as one

Song of the Wandering Aengus
W.B. Yeats
I went out to the hazel wood,
Because a fire was in my head,
And cut and peeled a hazel wand,
And hooked a berry to a thread;
And when white moths were on the wing,
And moth-like stars were flickering out,
I dropped the berry in a stream
And caught a little silver trout.
When I had laid it on the floor
I went to blow the fire a-flame,
But something rustled on the floor,
And some one called me by my name:
It had become a glimmering girl
With apple blossom in her hair
Who called me by my name and ran
And faded through the brightening air.
Though I am old with wandering
Through hollow lands and hilly lands,
I will find out where she has gone,
And kiss her lips and take her hands;
And walk among long dappled grass,
And pluck till time and times are done
The silver apples of the moon,
The golden apples of the sun.
Personal Introduction
My wife Michelle and I live in the Central San Joaquin Valley of California, where I work as an editor and we endure 100-degree summers and pea-soup fog in the winter. We live in a rather small but tidy white house in a gated community that is also home to my stepson, Domenic; our two cocker spaniels, Catrina and Prometheus; and our cat, Isis. Also residing with us is a large collection of faeries, dragons and other artwork and items that will leave no doubt that we are very Pagan. Entering our home is, in some ways, like walking into a very large altar.
My own personal background is very eclectic. My father describes himself as a "hopeful agnostic," whereas my mother's spirituality might best be described as New Age universalist. As a teenager, I was drawn to the Christian Charismatic movement, where I remained well into my adult years. I even served, for a time, as a church deacon. Gradually, however, I became disullusioned with what I considered the judgmentalism and hypocrisy of organized Christianity and began to question the wisdom of this path for me. I did extensive research into the historical background of Judaism and Christianity, which ultimately led me to write a book, "The Phoenix Principle." This work is, in essence, a milestone on my own sacred journey, detailing the origins of mainstream Western religion in Paganism, myth and politics.
My subsequent journey has led me to a path on which, for perhaps the first time, I feel entirely at home - that of the eclectic Pagan. For me, this combines elements of teachings from Masters such as Lao Tzu and Jesus with my own observations, a bit of medieval chivalry and a profound conviction that all things are one ... that each of us is a unique and wonderful manifestation of the All that binds us together. Together with Gaia and the universe, we are the creator who is self-created. When we unite, we forge the power of Lady and Lord.

My personal quest is to help nurture the essential balance between feminine and masculine, yin and yang, light and dark, through a profound respect for one another and this realm we inhabit. As Jesus said, the kingdom of heaven is within us and all around us. We have but to open our third eye to see it.
My wife and I are always interested in meeting other Pagans for friendship, networking and support. My wife and I live in the Fresno-Clovis area, and we're interested in meeting other spiritually open people. We share an interest in psychology and writing. We enjoy discussions on Paganism, psychology, philosophy and related topics. But we also like to have fun. We've recently begun to get involved in Renaissance Faires, and we enjoy kicking back and relaxing with a good game of canasta, a good movie or a good book. We run our own Pagan online community, Pagan Action Network, on MSN. To visit us, click the link below:
Pagan Action Network
We share a vision for networking with other Pagans and bringing freethinkers together in a unity so we can pursue growth and increased understanding. We believe in developing self-understanding and in the interconnectedness of all things. It is our sacred trust to honor past and future, light and dark, masculine and feminine, mind and emotion, conscious and unconscious in equal measure.
We also are involved in Renaissance Faires, something we've become more heavily involved in during the past year or so. We're founding members of the Guild of Caldarari, a Romani (gypsy) guild formed in November 2007 in Central California. At present, we include members from Visalia, Three Rivers, Fresno, Clovis, Hanford and Kingsburg. Look for our bellydancing performances at 2008 faires in the local area.

Namaste and brightest blessings!
The Stolen Child
W.B. Yeats
There lies a leafy island
Where flapping herons wake
The drowsy water rats;
There we've hid our faery vats,
Full of berrys
And of reddest stolen cherries.
Come away, O human child!
To the waters and the wild
With a faery, hand in hand,
For the world's more full of weeping than you can understand.
Where the wave of moonlight glosses
The dim gray sands with light,
Far off by furthest Rosses
We foot it all the night,
Weaving olden dances
Mingling hands and mingling glances
Till the moon has taken flight;
To and fro we leap
And chase the frothy bubbles,
While the world is full of troubles
And anxious in its sleep.
Come away, O human child!
To the waters and the wild
With a faery, hand in hand,
For the world's more full of weeping than you can understand.
Where the wandering water gushes
From the hills above Glen-Car,
In pools among the rushes
That scare could bathe a star,
We seek for slumbering trout
And whispering in their ears
Give them unquiet dreams;
Leaning softly out
From ferns that drop their tears
Over the young streams.
Come away, O human child!
To the waters and the wild
With a faery, hand in hand,
For the world's more full of weeping than you can understand.
Away with us he's going,
The solemn-eyed:
He'll hear no more the lowing
Of the calves on the warm hillside
Or the kettle on the hob
Sing peace into his breast,
Or see the brown mice bob
Round and round the oatmeal chest.
For he comes, the human child,
To the waters and the wild
With a faery, hand in hand,
For the world's more full of weeping than he can understand.

Over on the hill
There grows a flower
Growing quicker still
More perfect by the hour
Deep within that flower
Is a tiny chair
All a-fringed with gold
The fairy queen sits there…
It is in her breath
That the wind does blow
It is in her heart
As pure as winter snow
It is in her tears
Crystal raindrops fall
And within her years
That she is in us all…
Oh dark eyes
Help me see
Just one look
She is gone
Look on me
We are one
Fading with the setting sun…
As the willow bows
To her majesty
All the forest flowers
Love her mystery
Who would not admire
Who could not adore
Who does not desire
Who wishes to see more?
