We started out as "The Juvenaires" back in 1955, we recorded a song that is rare today called Do the Bop. We took this song to Dick Clark and later renamed it At the Hop it became the number one hit in the USA for 7 weeks in 1957 to 1958. We later in 1958 recorded Rock and Roll is Here to Stay topped the charts in the top 20. Our group has Me Danny Joseph Rapp born May 9,1941, Joseph Terranova born January 30, 1941, Dave White born September 1, 1940, Frank Maffei born November 1940. We began singing at ages 13 and 14 on street corners in Philly, Pa. At the Hop was feature with us singing it in the 1958 movie Lets Rock a.k.a Keep it Cool. We all went to John Bartram High School in Philly, Pa.
