About Me

Lost, yet more found than most.
Alone, yet intentionally.
Broken, yet healing.
Unsung, yet composing.
For all practical purposes, I'm just another bum hitch-hiking to the ultimate reality.
Ultimate reality to me is the perfect union of sensual imagination and logical reasoning.
Life is only symbolic... and as far as I can conclude from the 3 decades I've spent on this planet, the only residual meaning of life that seems to have any value is the relations we have with others. I think all anyone really wants is to be understood, accepted, appreciated, respected, & loved... despite our anecdotal disagreances. The lack of this leeds to all those things you call "bad" in the world. Compassion seems to be the answer.
I've learned that there are 4 things I need in life to be happy and I seek them with deep passion, yet I'm currently deficient:
1) to learn (grow)
2) to teach (help)
3) to create (express)
4) to love (be loved)
Me:
I'm a lesbian in a gay man's body...
Artistic Scientist, Scientific Artist, Esoteric, European Mentality, Eastern Thought, Philosophical Skeptic, Realist, Egoist, Relativist, Romanticist, Passionate Lover in mind and body, Spiritual, Inventor, Naturist, Feminist, Protector, Communicator, Debater, Just, Curious, Sophisticated, Analytical, Problem Solver, Humorist, Nostalgic, Extreme Faithfulness & Loyalty, Searching for Truth, Integrity, and Happiness....
I'm not the same person I was a year ago... I'm not the same person I will be a year from now. My quickening is rapid and if you aren't a stowaway on the same everchanging path, you might find detachment in no time. I may not be as attractive as my pictures present me as, nor as intelligent and tollerant as my profile suggests... this is how I see myself and would like to be seen, but it's up to you to get to know me and define me in your own way. The closer you get to me, the more distanced we will probably become.
My Humor:
I am a mix of The Big Lebowski, The 3 Stooges, Zoolander, Kung Pow, Austin Powers 3, Friday, Adult Swim, Family Guy, The Critic, The Simpsons, Ren & Stimpy, Seinfeld, Monty Python, Benny Hill, Upright Citizen's Brigade, The Young Ones, Douglas Adams, Office Space, Oscar, Mall Rats, Caddy Shack, Christopher Marlowe aka Shakespeare, Eddie Izzard, Louis Black, Bill Cosby, George Carlin, Billy Crystal, Bill Murray, Chevy Chase, Dr. Demento, Mr Bean, Looney Toons, Tom & Jerry, American Psycho, The Royal Tennenbaums.

I'd like to meet:

I'm NOT here for romance, dates, or to find that "special someone"!!!

Pretty Much Everyone
...that doens't mean I want to keep speaking with them. Racists or Religious Fanatics are persona non grata!!!

3 Biggest Turn-Offs!!!
Arrogance, Ignorance, & Cookie-Cutter Conformism...
Originality is sexy... but if you are arrogant and think you are the 'shit' or better than all the people on here, then you are obviously very ignorant too. Don't bother accepting my add or trying to add me if you have a God/Godess complex!

If I make just one new long-term friend, this site was worth it!

For those of you that I don't already know on my Friends List, I have actually gone through your profie and found something about you that makes me want to learn, discuss, or chat with you! I didn't just add you to try and compete with everyone else on here that wants to be popular as they didn't get enough of it in Highschool. Just wanted to let you know the appreciation. I try to read everyones' bulletins provided they aren't copy and paste lists and respond to all e-mails. I also do most of my communication and getting to know people through bulletins. If you are concerned about the amount of friends on my list, don't be... I only talk to about 1/20 of them. Most of them are never on or don't communicate much through interesting bulletins.

When it comes down to it, we are all just human, so those of you that think you're larger than life... get over yourself, and when you do, you can join me here in the real world, living happy!

Thanks for visiting.

TOP 10:
If I've added you, it's most likely cause you...

10) Seem like a descent person in general
9) Seem worldly and openminded
8) Have a wit or sense of humor I appreciate
7) Are studying a subject that I follow
6) Have a great eclectic music taste
5) Are some form of artist
4) Dance when you go to a club, not sit around
3) Live an alternative lifestyle
2) Are intellectually stimulating
1) Are unique

Care to chat?
I'm on Yahoo, MSN, & AOL IM.
YIM is by far the best!

I erase so many comments cause they say "thanks for the add" or have some big picture that takes up my whole screen. Please dont do it!... Thanks

Lastly, if I write to you and I see that you've read it and you don't respond (unless it is a conclusive comment) then I will more than likely erase you cause it appears to me that you are too good to respond to me.

Music:

Listen to It All ! Music Makes the World go Round.
But I've found that the more wise and older I get, the less I like to listen to angry music... heavy rock, gangsta rap, or anything that makes my eybrowes tense when I listen to it.

I guess I MAINLY listen to in this order, but it all depends on my mood at the time.Inde & "Alt" Rock 80's British Invasion Organic Rock (Elliot Smith & Jack Johnson) Trance/House Downtempo Lounge Ambient Real & Pop Hip/Hop Jazz & Blues 80's Pop Classical
Music is very emtionally infused with my soul. It can either enhance my current mood to tears or else it can put me in the nostalgic mood I'm seeking. Music in my opinion is the emotional fabric that holds our social humanity together. It is the language of our inner emotions that words do no justice to. It probably defines us better than anything else, so it's the first thing I look at when I read your profile.

My CD Recommendation

Anoushka Shankar:
Rise

In tradition with her father's beautiful music... this compiles sounds from the world that create deep emotion inside me.

Movies:

Too numerous in taste and amount to mention. I watch mostly Independent films... they appeal to my affinity for reality.
But these movies I'll watch no matter how many times I've seen them if they are on...The Big Lebowski Fear & Loathing in LV The Big Chill Caddyshack American Psycho Breakfast Club Stir Crazy Lost In Translation Heat Trainspotting Moulin Rouge The Princess Bride The Adventures of Baron Munchausen Much Ado About Nothing A Midnimmer's Nights Dream Plunkett & MaClaene Lost & Delirious Stealing Beauty Risky Business Zoolander Goonies Better Off Dead Austin Powers 3 The Phantom Tollbooth Fantasia Quills Office Space What About Bob Eric The Viking Fletch Grounhog Day dot the i The Edukators Brick Any Monty Python Movie Any Pink Panther Movie Anything Andrew Blake!
My favorite ActorsI really love these actors:

Kevin Kline Jeff Bridges Michael Keaton Robert Deniro Christopher Walken Johnny Depp Steve Martin John Goodman John Lithgow Robin Williams Gene Wilder Jeremy Irons Michael Caine Bill Murray Chevy Chase Rodney Dangerfield Kenneth Brannagh Lawrence Fishburne The whole cast of Monthy Python Claire Danes Harvey Keitel Kirsten Dunst Morgan Freeman Julia Roberts Liv Tyler Ian McKellan Elijah Wood Brad Pitt Rebecca Romijn Patrick Stewart Sean Connery Yule Brenner Audrey Hepburn Christian Bale George Clooney Jack Nicholson John Turturro Macaulay Culkin Daniel Brühl

My Movie Recommendation
Die Fetten Jahre sind vorbei (The ‘Fat’ Years Are Over aka.The Edukators)
Loyalty vs Betrayal
Liberal vs Conservative
Proletariat vs Bourgeois
Right vs Wrong
Violence vs Peace
Youth vs Aged
Change vs Change
The last time I was affected this greatly by a film was when I was stewing over Lost in Translation... if this flick stands the test of time with my emotions and thought... it might be in my top 10. It is subtitled, but for me well, well worth it! Brilliant! If you have seen it... there are a bunch of things I would love to discuss with all its dynamics... let me know!

Television:

Click here to see what is happening when you are watching TV

Rome The Wire Current TV Sundance IFC Simpsons Penn & Teller: Bullshit South Park Curb Your Enthusiasm Adult Swim Family Guy Monty Python's Flying Circus World Cup "Soccer" Real Time w/ Bill Maher Daily Show w/ John Stuart The Three Stooges
Also all the types of things on TLC, DISC, HIST.

Books:

Philosophical, Scientific, Religious, Historical, Mythological, or Psychological. But I think best book of all time is Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland & Through the Looking Glass!

My Book Recommendation James Loewen
- Lies My Teacher Told Me

Loewen goes into the facade of our school system with what and how they teach us in America. He points out, that through omitting important details of conflict and negativity, Amrerica create a hegemonized society not any less brainwashed than other places like the Soviet Union or China... places that we think we are so much better than. This is NOT a conspiracy theorist's book
... it is filled with detailed references and foot notes to explain where and when Loewen got his information from. This book changed my life!

Heroes:

Indiana Jones Joseph Campbell John Lennon Leonardo da Vinci Prometheus Bill Cosby Bono Taras Bulba Aristotle J.S. Mill David Hume Alcibiades Voltaire Simone de Beauvoir Confucius Gandhi Milla Jovovich Colin Powell James George Janos Siddhartha The Dalai Lama MLK "Jesus" Cicero Pete Seeger Benjamin Franklin Thomas Edison Oprah Salvador Dali Monthy Python J.R.R.
