Former Atlanta radio DJ Moochie Mack scored a large regional hit in 2000 with .."Dirty South Is in da House,.." which led to an opportunity to record a full-length, 2001..'s Broke Pimpin..'. Powered by the aforementioned Southern anthem and the singles .."Ghetto Bounce.." and .."We Be on Dat,.." the album featured production by Street Flava, Lil Jon, DJ Herb, and Salam Wreck. ~ Jason Birchmeier, All Music Guide The best parts of Broke Pimpin..' feature the kind of raw energy found on Outkast albums mixed with the trademark bounce of the Hot Boyz. Moochie Mack clearly has a knack for clever rhymes and storytelling. .."Jack N Da Jacker.." amply displays Moochie..'s sense of humor while tracks like .."Ummmh Ha.." and .."Ghetto Bounce.." mix everything from gospel and blues with good old Southern bounce.
