About Me

Rebecca Lee Wickens was born in a farm house off of US 31 in cold, desolate northern Michigan back in January of 1981. She spent her formative years living in a small town, with a big family. They only had two kinds of music on the radio up there: classic rock and classic country. These two sounds were the only musical influence she had growing up, other than the music she sang in the church choir, where her mother dragged her every Sunday for 18 years. Although Rebecca has called Chicago home for the past seven years, you can still hear the country in her songs.
