Kelly Stanley was born in Honolulu, HI. Her "Air Force Brat" childhood took her from Hawaii to Spain and then finally Texas. There she studied acting at Southwest Texas State University. She furthured her love of performing by playing in bars in San Antonio and Austin. She now enjoys playing guitar and singing in Chicago in the alt-country rock band, Divebar. The mixture of her southern background and her midwestern counterparts creates some unique pop songs with a bit of a country flair.
