It all Started in the Summer of 2006 When a DJ and few mates decided to throw a Party. A Few phone calls later a Venue was set and a line up of local DJs was confirmed. Our aim was to host a party with a One Nation Under One Groove Attitude! To Have a host of DJs that all play different Genre's of music, but a flowing feel throughout the night........Needless to say the Party went down a treat! With around about 200 Rockers, Hip Hopers, Soul Lovers, Funk Brothers, Breakbeaters and House Heads turning out and partying till the early hours in an Old Victorian Hotel In Barrow in Furness. HOMEGROWN was Born!!..........The past couple of years Homegrown has hosted many one off Nights in different Venues in the North, Making many friends along the way, Also recruiting a team off talented DJs To Play at their Monthly Club Night @ the fantastic venue the Cinema Room in Barrow..............Its been a good start to the year for Homegrown, with The Club Night having a good friendly following and a massive line up in store for 2008, also a Festival in the agenda, we've got a feeling that it's gonna be a good year!!...............So get us added as one of your mates and we'll keep you updated of all that's going down............Peace Out!
