Not so much interests, more manic obsessions: Butterflies and Moths (since being 4 years old,) classic VW Beetles - I'm lucky enough to own a 1973 model, old cars generally, tennis and football.
The person who first came up with the phrase "chill out". I'd ask them did they ever have any idea how widespread its usage would become, do they wish they had some kind of royalty on it, after all it's a piece of their "intellectual property" and I'd also tell them how much it gets on my frigging nerves.
Stone Roses, Ian Brown, Echo and the Bunnymen, The Chameleons, The Thrills, Cocteau Twins, Jarvis Cocker, XTC, Oasis, The Smiths, James, The Killers, Kasabian, The Mock Turtles, Beck, Doves, Genesis (earlier stuff), Kaiser Chiefs, Bikini Atoll, but not in that order.
Nearly all Woody Allen's stuff, Groundhog Day, One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest, Dumb and Dumber, The Bicycle Thieves, Vanishing Point, Dog Day Afternoon, Dirty Harry, Billy Liar.
Columbo, The Sweeney, Starsky and Hutch, Bargain Hunt, Countdown, Top Gear, Match of the Day, (though I find Lineker to be increasingly unbearable) Coronation Street.
Not a great reader of fiction, though I'm keen on all George Orwell's work, Thomas Hardy, Alan Bennett, and I think Irvine Welsh is a genius. Stephen Fry and Alexei Sayle never disappoint - I always look forward to new work from them, the way you anticipate a new album from your favourite band. Loads of poetry as well - it's my job.
John McEnroe, Denis Law, Eric Cantona, Paul Scholes, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, David Dickinson, Tom Bloxham.
