Perfomance and Football Poet dubbed “Eccentric!” by Central TV , expect lunched out mayhem from Stroud’s own maverick GM-free rhymey type wordsmith . Crispin divides his life , like half-time oranges - between running A World Music & Roots Agency (CTM www.ctmuk.com) for Hazel O'Connor, Imbongi, Craobh Rua, Lolou, Daby Balde, Chimanimani, Johnny Coppin & Moya and keeping together solo/band performances and football poetry workshops . Witty, perceptive. totally mad, but always at the cutting edge of fluff , I've appeared in/written 'The Poet Strikes Back’ - (Star-Wars in poetry and music ) at the Everyman Theatre,Cheltenham , and caused poetic havoc with festival audiences at Glastonbury, , Bracknell, Lichfield Green Fringe, Big Green Gathering,Cheltenham Festival Of Literature, Bristol Poetry Festival, Warminster Book Festival, Stroud Fringe, Larmer Tree, Malborough, Tiverton and Arlingham Festival. .His latest live CD ‘The Power of Fluff’ was recorded at Larmer Tree Festival and his first album: 'On One' on Solar Power in the Croissant Neuf Tent at Lichfield-Bless!<Impossible to pigeon-hole , 100% original and a master of the ad-lib , he's performed on radio, HTV Wales (“Fresh”), BBC 1 ('Inside Out' & 'Match of The Day 2' , Central TV and in March 2000 on Channel 4 TV in 'Avalon', filmed at Glastonbury Festival. Crispin comperes at festivals,and as has performed at the Royal Festival Hall as editor of the acclaimed Football Poets website, recently archived by The British Libraryand featuring 10,000 football poems. For the past 8 years, Crispin has run poetry workshops with children and adults across the UK within communities, schools, prisons and at football grounds including Chelsea FC for four years. Using football, humour, raps, chants and poems, his goal is to inspire and encourage reading and the written and spoken word . He's even waxed lyrical on tackling racism at the FA HQ in Soho and the House of Lords for Kick It Out! In 2005 and 2006 Crispin was invited by the British Council to run workshops and perform in Porto and Berlin.
