About Me

Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois, Greg began studying piano at the age of six. In 1993, he graduated from Stanford University, after which he worked for DreamWorks SKG and Pop.com, while performing and music directing for Los Angeles theater productions and composing for various independent projects. In the summer of 2004, Greg was honored to receive the Harold Arlen Film & TV Award for his participation in the annual ASCAP Film Scoring Workshop. Shortly thereafter, he was appointed the music director/conductor of "The Ten Commandments", a new musical starring Val Kilmer. During the summer of 2006, Greg completed a musical assistantship with oscar-winning composer Elliot Goldenthal on his new opera, GRENDEL. Over the last few years, Greg has composed music for numerous TV commercials, including campaigns for Intel, Verizon, Chrysler, Toyota, Hyundai, Barclay's, Transamerica, and the U.S. Marine Corps. He received a nomination for the L.A. Ovation Award for Best Musical Director for Eric Whitacre's Paradise Lost in the summer of 2007, and currently serves as the Executive Music Producer for Sanrio Digital, Inc.
