About Me

The Original Cjs Saloon is located in Boston Ma. Cjs Central, the first franchise, is located in Chicago IL. Although we're totally lazy and perpetually drunk (but of course, we have a bar in our house), we're officially open for business. Furthermore, we MEAN business. Sure, we could have had a home office or another guest room or some such thing in the back room, but we take our drinking seriously enough to devote living space to it.
We only root for the Sox - Red or White, Yankees/Cubs fans be damned - smoking is encouraged, and we're growing rather fond of scratch tickets. The bartender is surly and prone to mocking the customers. Booze, cats and spare ukuleles are always on hand, but you must bring your own firearms. Swass is inevitable in this joint as our otherwise comfy stools are swass inducers, so don't bother complaining - we know. We also discourage rum drinkers as they tend to be fans of Jimmy Buffett, and nobody likes a Jimmy Buffett fan. Sorry folks, them's the rules and them's about the only rules in these parts.
