I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I am the coolest nerd there is (that is if nerds can even be cool). I strive to lead a dynamic life with an equal balance of pleasure, hard work, and discipline. Born in Viet Nam in 1974 and been in California since 1977, which is basically my entire life. I was raised in North Hollywood, CA in the San Fernando Valley.I attended UCLA and graduated from there in 1998 with a degree in Psychology. I now work for a big biotech firm playing with computers amongst other cool stuff (long story how you can go from psychology to information technology) . They call me a system administrator which is a fancy word for computer nerd. I love what I do for a living which proves that I am a nerd! My job is da bomb! I also have a love for working out (maybe that's part of the reason I married a bodybuilder).I am also a photographer for all the NPC shows in Southern California (which amounts to 12) and co-owner of Graphic Muscle photography. I have a great husband Alex and a new baby girl Alexis who is now 2 1/2 years old. We also have six pets comprised of two dogs and four cats whom are all rescue animals. We now have a full house! (well, there's room for more kids but not for a few years at least)I am totally blessed to have great people in my life: my family, my friends, my daughter, and my husband (who I guess technically can qualify as both my family and friend).Life is about enjoyment and living it to its fullest.SEE MY WORK AT WWW.MUSCULARDEVELOPMENT.COM

My Interests

Working out, spinning, photography, computers, technology gadgets, shopping (I love shoes and purses and any baby stuff), eating sushi, drinking sake...yummo!

I'd like to meet:

My grandparents. I've never met any of my grandparents as they passed away before I was old enough to know what grandparents were. I know they had to be strong people to go through the struggles that they did during the era that they lived in. I'd want to thank them for all they've done for our family that ensured kids like me had a chance to do well in this world. I'd thank them for setting morals and family values that were passed down to me that I now can pass onto my daughter. I love you!

Music:

I listen to it all. In my IPOD I have Michael Buble, Celine Dion, Tina Turner, Missy Elliott, Mary J Blige, Luther Vandross, Anita Baker, Barry Manilow, Sade, Patti LaBelle, Christina Aguilera, Dr. Dre, techno, house music, and tons more I can't remember..Oh, and Baby Einstein stuff (for Alexis of course!)

Movies:

I'm not much of a movie buff. I'd have to say Joy Luck Club as it reminds me much of my life and relationship with my mother, (I can't watch this movie without crying) then there's Shawshank Redemption, Casino, and my fav, March of the Penguins!

Television:

Anything on Food Network, Survivor, Dog the Bounty Hunter, Oprah, The Apprentice.

Heroes:

My parents! They grew up in a 3rd world country and knew that their kids did not have a chance of opportunity or success in had they stayed. So they sacrificed all they had and knew to start over and came to the States so that my brothers and I could live out our dreams. They are my real life heroes!
