Our purpose and mission:
Unite a visible GLBTIQ* community.
Celebrate freedom and equality of all people.
Support the well being and development of the local GLBTIQ community.
Booneprideorg is the High Country's leading online Web portals devoted to uniting and representing the area’s LGBT community. The free, donation-supported service brings you local news and updates about everything from social activities to activism.
The site also promotes Boone’s annual gay pride event.
Boonepride.org serves as a hub for local LGBTIQ groups to be identified and promoted. In addition, Boonepride.org offers links to other LGBT sources on the Internet, aimed at helping area web surfers in their online explorations. Readers can also browse through an online list of gay-friendly businesses in the area.

Pride Event Rules and Regulations

Admission
Festival Admission is by ticket only. Complimentary admission can be obtained by volunteering. No refunds are available. 18 and under are admitted for free.

Drinking
Only persons 21 and older with proper ID may consume alcoholic beverages sold at the event. BPI reminds you to drink responsibly. If you need a safe ride home, please ask for a taxi. No outside beverages or containers are allowed inside the event.

Security
Uniformed and under-cover professional security personnel are located on site for your safety and convenience. If you need assistance, please seek any uniformed staff or volunteer for assistance.

Other
Shirts and shoes are required. No illegal drugs or substances. No firearms or weapons. No explicit sexual behavior. Bags are subject to search. BPI reserves the right to refuse service or entry.
