CarolinaLesbian.com debuted online in August of 2004, giving women from North Carolina & South Carolina a place to find friends, local events, bars & clubs, community resources, and support. We are dedicated to bringing lesbian and bisexual women together in fun, friendship and community. "Where Women Come Together" has been our driving mission since the very first day. Everything we do and everything we hope for is making our little space a valuable resource for all women in the Southeast Region and build a community like no other.
In August of 2005 we hosted the 1st Annual Women-In The Woods Weekend in Canon, GA at the In The Woods Campground Resort. Women-In The Woods is a yearly fundraising event. CarolinaLesbian.com is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit organization serving the women of our community. Under this new designation we will be able host many more services and events all year round, allowing women to have more local outlets for personal growth, fun and friendship. In August 2007, Carolina Lesbian will be moving into a permanent office in Charlotte, NC and looks forward to opening more locations in the coming years to serve the local community.
We are proud to be joining forces with other lesbian/gay groups, organizations and businesses in our quest to solidify our community. We hope that you will join us and spread the word.
