I am a person devoted to Jesus and helping others find salvation. I graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in Anthropology and Biology. I am currently preparing to study at Vanderbilt University's Divinity School. I feel God has called me to teach His Word, unite the masses and demonstrate LOVE AND GRACE to all.I met my wife in 1995, but we did not start dating until 1999. I am married via Vermont Civil Union in 2001. My partner is a therapist by profession and a prayer warrior and apostle by blessings of the Lord. I intend to start a church after I graduate Vanderbilt and teach college theology/religion so as to not burden my congregation with my salary.I am a natural advocate for change and progress. I despise oppression of a people and will lay down my life for the sake of one of God's children. I want to reach All people and leave with them the truth and hope of Jesus Christ. I particularly am concerned with the marginalized groups that often slip through social cracks. I want to leave a legacy of truth about Jesus on this earth. I want others to remember me as a faithful servant and good friend with an integrous soul.I probably love too easy. I am sometimes hard to get to know. I tend to have a few very close friends and many casual acquaintances. I love my friends with all I have. I have friendships as far back as kindegarten! When I give you my heart, you have it. I believe in my friends and I need very much for them to believe in me.My astrological sign is cancer. I am ruled by the moon. I am what my wife refers to as androgynous, but I definitely also have the typical cancer traits. I am all about my home and keeping a harmonious secure home. I can be moody, sensitive and I love to write poetry to get my feelings out. I do that mostly on blogs.I am a skeptic by nature. I research for myself and seldom accept others opinions as fact. I am definitely my own person.I used to be afraid of failure, but I've grown a lot. I still don't want to fail, but I'll jump anyway, because it's the only way I'll ever fly!I have strong convictions and hardly waiver from my convictions...luke warm I am not.In the meantime...I'll be reaching out to help others come to know Jesus.
