About Me

Make your own Banner Here!
SIDESIXTYSEVEN, the name comes from a skate shop that was supposed to be opened in Edmonton Alberta, but never got off the ground. Darren Agnew Guitar, and Kerry Cyr Guitar, decided to use the name when they moved to Vancouver in 1999 and met Sean Colig Bass, En Roberts Vocals and Rich Ellott Drums. Soon after the first jam, Sidesixtyseven as a band was born.As a recent replacement of their old drummer, Nick Matovich is now pounding the drums and bringing new blood to the band. This addition has proved to be nothing short of outstanding which is clearly audible when you listen to the newest ep Punktuality.JUST RELEASED! September 2005 Beyond Warped Series Dual Disc (DVD and Audio) featuring Sidesixtyseven. This dvd has behind the scenes interviews with the band, live footage from the 2004 Warped Tour, and other bonuss including a photo gallery and collage. This is available everywhere and has worldwide distribution. Special Thanks to 5.1 Entertainment and Aloha Films for hooking this up!!The video for Egotistamachoism the third song off the new ep has just been completed and will be sent out music stations for October 2006. This video captures the true energy behind the band and their music and provides a realistic view of what their all about. Many of the songs from their first release Inspired E.P. have landed on the soundtracks of snowboarding and skate videos some of which include: Fathom Transmissions, Underexposed, Skateboard Canada, Appetite for Destruction, and the snowmobile movie Roops of Hazard. If you see one of these around grab one. Apparently they are in rare supply. Other exposure for Sidesixtyseven has included write ups in, Strength magazine, 2 articles in Concrete Powder, Terminal City, Dischorder, The Nerd or Nerve, airplay on most universities across Canada, local commercial radio, songs in the international T.V. shows - Beyond the Action and Fat Blue Sky, several Pique Newsmagazine interviews, Vancouver Province (cover) Vancouvers daily newspaper, 2 songs on the Epitaph website, Maximum Rock n Roll magazine and various websites with reviews and interviews.Along with these good times, SIDESIXTYSEVEN won the Vans Records demo calling, only to find out the label folded a few weeks before, typical.SIDESIXTYSEVEN feels fortunate to have played with such musicians as Bad Religion, Anti-flag,The Casualities, Supersuckers, A.F.I., Good Riddance, Death By Stereo, Savannah, Guttermouth, Fishbone, Suicide Machines,The Golers, GOB, A.D.D., Deville, The Almighty Punchdrunk, Satanic Surfers, D.O.A., Ten Foot Pole, Satanic Surfers, Pulley, the Bar Feeders and have shared the Volcom stage on the Warped tour for the past two years with many bands...
