About Me

The newest dance company to take the Las Vegas area by storm, Nytronix will take you on a visual and musical odyssey that is not to be missed.

Nytronix dance productions originally began as Millennium Performing Arts in Reno Nevada in late 2001. Inspirited by the underground dance scene in the late 90’s, founder and artistic director Onnoleigh Sweetman had a vision to create a dance company that meshed underground forms of dance such as glow sticks and poi with traditional dance and showcase these new art forms on stage. It was then a phenomenon began known as neo-modern performance art. Millennium performed at various venues and in unlikely places for a solid 4 years. Known for their high energy dance performances, interactive performance raves and break the rules attitude, the company expanded the boundaries of art, exposing thousands to a revolution of dance. One such example was the smash hit Club Lust. Written and directed by Sweetman, the interactive dance experience was unlike anything Reno had seen before 2002. The show followed the lives of three girls at a rave and how they became enlightened by their dance experience. Filled with over 30 dancers and artists ranging from modern, Pointe, hip-hop, break dance, glow sticks, poi, fire arts, pole dancing, live dj’s, an opera singer, video projections, and laser lights, the show had a successful run of 2 years at the Bruka Theater.

After exposing the theater world to night club culture and the clubs to the theater world, Sweetman decided to return to the bright lights of Las Vegas where a new dance company was born. Set entirely to electronic music and live dj’s, Nytronix dance productions follows the lead of it’s parent company and will illuminate the city of Las Vegas with high energy, beat pumping, one of a kind dance performances and raves.

Nytronix: The future of dance has landed in Las Vegas.
