Dimmer is a group with two men and two women that started a couple of years ago because they discovered that they love to play together. They are all profesionell musicians and had been working together in different groups for many years. But when they found each other working together again it made them so happy. At first they only did cover stuff, but after a while they started to do more and more of their own music. Viveka is an excellent lyricwriter and she makes outstanding Swedish lyrics to for example jazztunes from the"American songbook". All the other members of the group are composers of music. Dimmer likes to make new arrangement of Beatles-songs. Cecilia has made a couple of songs of her own. Ola makes terrific, intricate music and so does Christer. To which Viveka puts beautiful Swedish lyrics. Ola also recently got a scholarship from SKAP the Swedish composer/artist/arrangement society for his compositions of theatre music. Tessan and Vip are very old friends and has been singing together since they were teenagers.
