America! We're Back!

About Me

Really late at night I can think a whole lot better than in the broad day light. I do love sunshine too and crave it's healing warmth. I like a hot cup of tea and especially coffee, strong and hot and shade grown, free trade organic, please. I like authentic stuff. I like Folk Art and Visionaries. I like people who try to help find a way for everyone to live together and share our world with all the creatures whose home it is, too. I love music, I can't say that enough. I love ART, specifically Visual Art. I also like performance art of some varieties. I like Spring and Summer and Fall as long as it stays warm. Winter has some good points but I'd prefer to spend it in the Caribbean. I feel like a child most of the time. I like to look at things with a child's wonder (it just comes naturally). I often times don't feel like I exist in the same world as everybody else. It looks like the regular world is there, all around me but it's operating on some completely different level, as if it were happening in slow motion and I can maneuver between the seams undetected. I like to make art. I believe in Art Magic (but I will only use it for others from now on, it doesn't work as a selfish-tool). Art opens doors to other realms. I might use that word more than once (I'm not sure but I think I meant "realms"). Art opens ALL realms, both realistic and magical. I encourage the Co-Mingling of ALL Arts (and remember, Art opens ALL realms, so that comes out to be a ton of realms (and sometimes, tons means none)). I like bright colors and primitive work. I believe in Peace and Love and trying one's damndest to be a good person. I try to get as close as I can without going over and sometimes I go under, over? I do enjoy a good Rogue or Mad-Cap Adventure Series. Picaresque: pertaining to, characteristic of, or characterized by a form of prose fiction, originally developed in Spain, in which the adventures of an engagingly roguish hero are described in a series of usually humorous or satiric episodes that often depict, in realistic detail, the everyday life of the common people. I like the way people pronounce words differently such as Vaudeville or Medieval. I am in touch with my inner Hairy Man (and my outer one, too as you can see) but I want to be an all-around human being, as well. That's what I'm shooting for. I am a Visual Artist and Traveling Performer. I do all types of Free-lance Artwork and design. I even hand print T-Shirts and Art Posters in my Studio Workshop. Feel free to contact me about Art. I have designed over 50 different CDs for various Musicians including Snake Oil Medicine Show, Mad Tea Party, Hypnotic Clambake, the Firecracker Jazz Band, Aaron Price, Matt Rue, Papa Gumbo, Cailen Campbell, Cort Armstrong and Blue Rooster, Jeff Robbins, Valorie Miller, Andy Pond and CX-1 Blackhole Bluegrass Boyz and the Overtakers.

My Interests

I like Painting Pictures and doing Illustrations, Writing Stories, Listening to many types of Obscure Music, Eating delicious food (Have you ever tried Octopus in sweet Coconut Cream or Curried Conch or Squid in Malaysian Shrimp Paste? Deliciously Flavoured Sea-Meats!) and Traveling the World with Creative People.

I also really like the Deep Blue Sea and all the Creatures who inhabit therein. I am interested in (and 100% supportive of) Freedom, Peace and Respect for all Beings, in this and every other Universe. I'd like to meet:

I am interested in meeting fellow Creative Types and also Visionaries, people who want to make a positive change in this World, especially through Art and Music. My gullibility factor has worn-off, however, so I'm not really interested in meeting Sex Workers or Pyramid Scheme havers. Yesterday I was living in the bushes, clothed only in discarded carpet remnants and eating out of a tin-can, to-day, I am making Eight-figures, just send me $40 and I'll tell you how to do it! (hint: get your Ice-scates on). I charged this entire MySpace Page to Mr. Winston Churchill's Credit Card... Want the number?
been testin' my suspension on this son-of-a-bitch. Keep it lef-side of the white-line and you'll stay out of the ditch!

Music:

I love music. I am amazed by People who create it and play it and help our culture grow by keeping ancient forms of music alive. There are many, many Bands and Solo Artists whose Music keeps me going. I am very grateful for my ears and my hearing because life would be very silent and flat without the magical sounds of Music.

Movies:

I have seen a lot of Movies! I really do enjoy Independent and Foreign films. I am not as much of a fan of the very formulaic Hollywood-type films (King Kong), but do sometimes watch them for the entertainment value. Genghis Blues , Rockers, Fletch, Shultze Gets the Blues, Trailer the Movie, The American Astronaut, Ice Pirates, Raising Arizona, Howl's Moving Castle, the Best of Times, the Big Blue, the Big Lebowsky, Big Trouble in Little China, Marx Brothers, Joan of Arc, Excalibur, Doctor Zhivago, Gadjo Dilo (the Crazy Stranger), I love Space Movies, Sci-Fi, anything by Woody Allen and Star Wars! I rent so many movies, I make friends with the Video Store Clerks (Clideo Stork Vleres), who (if you don't spend your money at McBlockbuster and support your local economy), are usually very cool Humans!

Television:

No TV! No Walmart! Wal Mart is Whale Mort, don't support the whole-sale slaughter of gigantic peaceful beings! Speaking of TV, do you remember that low-budget Alien Invasion Mini-Series from sometimes during the 1980s? Well, the Walmart People are like those who made friends with the Visitors, by selling all of Humanity off to them for food! They'll do anything to line their pockets (Just like the current residents of our most expensive Public Housing, the White House), with no regard to our economy or health or anything! Keep on preying on the poor Walton Family, until there is no place else to work besides Walmart Super-Center. We can make a difference by supporting our local Manufacturers and Independently owned businesses and Artisans, instead of the Chinese (who we used to save our left-overs for as children, soon they'll be saving theirs for us).

Books:

I am a fan of the popular Irish-American author, J.P. Donnleavy. He writes picaresque tales of the old world and the new. I also enjoy Tom Robbins' work very much. I like a good Rogue Adventure Series, these are by far my favorites. I read mainly fiction and I do read some periodicals periodically. I liked F. Scott Fitzgerald a lot (my favorite was Tender is the Night) and W. Somerset Maugham and I recently read a book about Marcel Proust. I read most of Hemmingway's books. As a child I read the Finn Family Moomintroll series by Tove Janson, the Swallows and Amazons series by Arthur Ransom and the Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis (which has now been chronologically reorganized and I think that's a little strange, although I do not know the whole story as to why the order was changed). I haven't read a single Harry Potter book but I have seen three of the Films, I guess I should put that in my movies column. I am currently reading the Furious Angel by Andrew Waters. ..

Heroes:

I got a ton of Heroes, going all the way back to the Cave-Days! They had strange ways but they painted what they saw and used berries and blood and made art for the Ages with sticks by torch-light on cold, subterranean canvases! We could all be heroes. I find Art in everyday things. I think anybody working for a Positive Change in this World is a Hero. We all need to Come Together and make some ART and MUSIC and LOVE and turn this old world of hate and fear on its ear, because there are plenty of Anti-Heroes out there running things into the ground right now and they won't stop until there is nothing left! It's time for some accountability, too, anyone who kills people and destroys things for their own personal gain, disguised as something patriotic in order to scare the Weak-Minded into compliance, should be brought to justice!
